Seasonal HVAC maintenance was completed by Kevin. Information and education were provided as to the system’s current and future capabilities. The technician took the time to explain all the relevant information and completed all maintenance steps thoroughly. Respectful and pleasant. Will choose this company for future home service needs!

Michael and Son was great, our technician, Illich, arrived on time and reviewed our concerns with us. He gave us multiple different quotes with different options and packages to work with our budget. Once we selected one, he quickly repaired the issues and walked us through everything. He also offered and explained Michael and Son's home service plan, which we chose to go with. He did the included electrical inspection with us, asking if we had any concerns and checking everything out. We will definitely use Michael and Son and Illich again.

Update: We needed to get our electric panel replaced and Darwin from Michael and Son came out to evaluate it and thoroughly explained everything that he was doing and what options we had. He put together different proposals and took our requests into account to get one that we were happy with. He returned the next week with Ali and did the complete panel replacement, along with additional grounding. He explained everything that he did and was up front about the work and costs. Both were very friendly and happy to explain what they were doing during the process. They cleaned everything up really well and did a great job. We are very happy with our service and the effort that Darwin put into his initial visit and quote is what made us choose Michael and Son for this work.

They took out my 28 yr old Furnace and installed a new more efficient one, and left the area cleaner than it was before. So far everything is running smoothly. It was just install on Friday the 7th of April. I would recommend them to friends and Family.

If I were told the cost range over the phone it would not have cost me $69 for nothing to be done except waiting for the technician.

When I called and made the appointment I was told there was a $69 dispatch fee to come out. I agreed to that but I did ask approximately how much could it cost to switch out my flood light on the back of my house to a newer model. The person over the phone was not able to give me any price. When the gentleman showed up he never touched either light fixture, stood about 7 ft away from the light fixture and gave me the price of $329 to change out that light fixture. This is a very simple repair, that would only take about 20 minutes and a a 2 ft step stool to reach the lamp.

Needless to say I did not get this done that was way too expensive for this project. So heads up unless you need them maybe you should think twice about calling them.

I have used M&S on numerous occasions and have overall been very happy with services, until this past visit with a toilet repair. I knew the washer was loose/leaking and made that known when the guy came to the house - but of course, I do not know what additional fixes need to be made with porcelain. He agreed it was the washer and stated the charge was $498 which was very high in my opinion, but again, not knowing what exactly needed to be done, I agreed to have the washer fixed. He showed me a one page document that goes over his verbal estimate which I am very used to, I signed. When he completed it, he told me it was fixed AND that he changed my gasket and knob - I looked very perplexed, why did you change those parts that were working and I did not mention nor did he mention in the process? I paid the bill and continued to investigate. Apparently, M&S always requests to change those parts regardless of if they need fixing or not - BUT the difference is, this guy said nothing about it. For my basement toilet, the guy went over with me the differences between GOOD BETTER and BEST and explained to me why I needed the gasket etc changed and I agreed. But I did not get that here and feel very bamboozled using a swindlers sales pitch. I would NOT have agreed to have that changed and he SHOULD have not only discussed that with me, but showed me the other page that was actually available on the estimate - it's not just the right to perform service. I called for a manager and the CSR requested to hear the story - the only word that came from his mouth was OK. Dead silence - no apologies or that he was going to talk to a manager, etc. I then had to tell him that I wanted this to be escalated for knowledge purposes - he said managers are only available by email and that I would get one by tomorrow. Understandably, managers get busy so I was not expecting much of a response in the first few days - but then I get another invoice from them yesterday!
I will consider using them in the future as my fault was signing an estimate displayed as a right to do work, but I will also be looking for other companies. I do not like bad practices as they have exercised here.

The technician (Johnson) was very polite in explaining and offering optional plans and did an absolute thorough and excellent tuneup on my old system, has it operating like it’s brand new again.
I love and will call on Michael & Sons for HVAC services.

Michael and Son were very professional and there customer service was outstanding. The plumber Michael M. was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the work that I had done. He was quick, fast and cleaned up behind himself and practiced COVID safety. Great JOB 👍. I will be using them for future work and I highly recommend.

I cannot say enough - thank you Michael and Sons and your fabulous technician today. He did a great job explained the process. The three hour window same day service was huge especially before Christmas! My sump pump malfunctioned and a new one had to be installed and on top of that, my water heater was having issues and that was fixed as well. I will definitely use Michael and Sons again.

The intial install of my HVAC system went fine but after has now caused me a headache. The day after the install I had a huge leak from my main water valve that wasn't there before work was completed on my HVAC system. One of Michael and sons plumbers came out and said my leak wasn't related to the install of my HVAC system. It could just be a coincidence that I had a major leak from old pipes after their techs worked in my basement for 8hrs but I dont believe in coincidence so 2 stars and im out $380. Wouldn't recommend them though. Moved down to 1 star because Maurice Noori the manager is so very rude, if i could have everything undone i would just because of that very rude manager. I couldnt even get a word in, all he did was talk over me and blame me for all the issues that didn't start until Michael and son techs were in my house. So go with Robert B Payne or whoever else you have a quote from.
