Kristen did a great job. She installed two toilets and fixed a leaking faucet. She make sure I was happy with the work she had done before she left. I was very happy with the job she did and the cost.

Terrible communication and follow up.

I had a great initial meeting and estimate with Jason at Humphreys and felt good about the job I’d hired them for as we moved forward (installing a new furnace and AC unit for single family home). The problem came with their terrible communication during the job.

They installed my furnace and AC unit in one day. During my estimate, they said they could vent my new furnace out to the south, towards my driveway, which is what I was hoping for.
On the day of installation, I had my father stay with them while they worked since I couldn’t get out of work to be there myself. I told the technicians to call me if they had any questions. When I came home, they had exhausted my furnace out the front of my house, cutting a hole through the brick in my bay window area (SEE PHOTO).
When I saw this, I made them stop their work and explain why it was done this way. They explained that it couldn't be vented out to the south as they originally thought because my foundation was too thick on that side of the house and they would have had to hire a subcontractor to come the next day to cut the cement. Whereas if they vented it out the front, it would be done.
They admitted to cutting corners so they could keep the job to one day and be done.

WHY DIDN'T THEY CALL ME AND VERIFY THIS HUGE CHANGE WITH ME BEFORE CUTTING THROUGH MY FRONT FACADE??

Even if it really was the only choice, I deserved a call before cutting through my front brick, which I had not agreed to.

...I never got a clear answer as to why I wasn't consulted first. Once they got paid for the job, I never heard from them again, despite the fact that I called a manager and expressed my disappointment about where my furnace was vented, and despite their offers to come back and train me on my new thermostat. The only possible solutions I was given were that I could hire a subcontractor to come fix what they'd done and vent it out the south like I originally asked for, or I could "just plant a tall bush to hide the pipe."

I'm honestly floored that their other ratings are so high. Am I the only customer they have had this blatant type of miscommunication with?

Jeremy was very knowledgeable about his job and very personable. He was pleasant to work with and polite and courteous. He did his work effectively and efficiently and left things clean and orderly. I greatly appreciate him and his service. His price was 25% less than a "friends and family" price I got from a competitor. Great work, greatly appreciated.

Really interesting that my previous review has disappeared. Horrible from the beginning. New owners appear to not care about customer service or fixing problems they created. Company under previous owners was great. A real disappointment.

Kendal - Overcharged me for a furnace repair, and lied about the real cause of my furnace being out.

Jeremy (Owner) - talked me into a new furnace. At least he refunded the overcharge as part of my $4k furnace purchase.

KC - installed my "new" furnace that was manufactured in 2018. And he purposely damaged my furnace (not sure what else to call banging on it with a sledgehammer in my driveway) and did sloppy work. Furnace isn't installed straight, welds and seals are sloppy. When I called Jeremy to raise my concerns, I was told he was one of his best installers, and he threw in a 5 year warranty in case anything was damaged (let's just be clear that really doesn't cost them much). If KC is one of the best, I would hate to see the worst!

Paris - The only tech who was honest and went above and beyond to try and fix issues. Paris gets 5 stars, everyone else gets 1.

Be careful when selecting these guys.

They’ve always been fair and honest with me. I’ve got a 20 year old A/C unit and they gave me every option with no pressure. Bandaid fixes that would help it limp along on my budget, as well as options for replacement. They’ve also done a few small plumbing fixes for me, and I’ve never had any problems.
