The guy who helped with the quote was so knowledgeable and easy to work with. The guys who came to install were fine. They arrived 40 minutes late, no big deal. They worked hard and got the new furnace and AC installed. They gave me options for placement on my new thermostat and it was great. They cleaned up to leave and I mentioned my extra air returns weren’t installed. They said they’d come back and do it. They came out the next week, over 2 hours late with no call...not cool. They worked quickly, but left drywall damage for me to repair. I wasn’t thrilled with that.

I had the same technician out again (Damon). He was very helpful and performed a furnace and gas fireplace service check as part of service agreement. Very happy this technician, service and service agreement purchased.

I liked the knowledgable technician, Damon. He was very professional and explained the details of how he was checking out my AC unit. There was a good price on the service, except that cleaning the unit costed extra but I was still happy with the overall price of the services. He sold me an annual service contract that I thought was reasonable as well. I actually wished my installing company had sold me such an agreement but they never offered one, so, I am glad to have this company offer an annual service for AC, furnace, gas fireplace, and some plumbing checks, i forget what those were, but a good deal and if the technicians are as good as this one, then I will be very happy with their service.

I keep coming back to express home services. Very streamlined approach and knowledgeable. Today Jeremy came to help me with some leaking valves under the sink. He was great, gave me some tips about other places water damage could happen and how to get around it. Above and beyond.

This place was awesome! My AC unit went out and I could not get anyone to come to my home until 2-3 days out. Express Home Services was able to find someone with a schedule that could help me the same day! The service tech, Damon, was very knowledgeable & professional in his work. I would recommend this company based on the work done, but especially the individual who did the work. Nice Job - Thanks!

4 out 5 businesses that I had scheduled to come out to give me an estimate were within 15-20 minutes of their estimated time. Express said they would call beforehand to let me know when the estimator was on his way in which they did at 2:30. They told me that someone was on there way and would be there within 30-60 min. I got another call at 5:00 to let me know someone would be there shortly. 40-45 minutes later they showed up. I had decided right then that regardless of the estimate I would not consider them as an option. You don't get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression. The company I did go with underbid your bid by $1100.00 with similar guarantees, warranty, and options. I was not planning on giving this place a review period but this was the 3rd attempt to get my review so here you go.

Their associate Jeremy Porter was wonderful in quickly finding and repairing a leak. He even wore those little hygienic boots over his work boots. I greatly appreciated the care and professionalism.

Really unprofessional. We struggled to get a 3PM appointment and specifically took work off to be home for this. We coordinated beforehand and reached out earlier in the day for secondary numbers to reach out to for updates. Nearing 430PM, finally get a call notifying us that they are 'trying' to get a tech to us shortly and wanted to confirm the appointment. No call at 2pm to let us know they were going to be late, no text, no voicemail, nothing. Incredibly unprofessional.

It also appears that other negative reviews are disappearing. I will be screenshotting this one as proof for the future.

Unfortunately I did not have the best experience with Express Home Services. My fireplace would not stay lit. The tech came out to diagnose it and we thought we had it solved. But it quit working the same day. They came out quickly the next day, and I was told they would be replacing one part for $800. By the end of a very long day for this technician, he had replaced multiple parts of my fireplace and I was left paying $1,020 for it in the end. I didn't get a receipt, so I called to get it sent to me and they tried explaining the charges to me, but the receipt is just an itemized list of what they repaired, but a one lump sum charge. I was also told the tech broke my blower fan, but I would be responsible to pay another $120 for the parts to fix it. It's unfortunate, because they were fast and friendly. I just didn't feel good about the charges in the end. I wish he had told me the charges before he did the work.

UPDATE: We found out our fireplace is now leaking gas from where the tech hooked it up. After smelling faint gas and my husband feeling off for a couple of days, we bought a leak detector and found the problem. I've called the company and they are sending Matt out again to fix the leak. I'm hoping they remedy this serious issue.

So, this is actually a really delayed review, but I had a very good experience with Humphrey's and I wanted to share my thoughts! About 7 months ago (in mid December) our Furnace went out. Both the A/C and Furnace were 20 years old, so we knew it was time to get them replaced anyway. I called three different companies to get quotes on how much it would be to get both a new furnace and new A/C unit. Jason was the one who came to our house, and he explained all of our options and gave his quote. He was personable, friendly, and professional. Out of the three companies, Humphreys was the best price, plus Jason was willing to install a vent in our basement room as part of the price. He even gave us a great discount on a home humidifier. We decided to hire them for the job, and his team came out and took care of the work. Jason was really good about keeping me updated along the way because they weren't able to finish everything that first day. I honestly appreciated his communication so I wasn't left wondering when they'd come back out to finish.

Also, this last spring their office made sure to call us and schedule an appointment to get the refrigerant put in our A/C, and I felt it was professional of them to do that, instead of me having to remember to call them to do that. All in all it was a great experience using them, and our A/C and Furnace have been working great. I would definitely recommend them!
