GEN3 Electric & HVAC

Over the last month I had the pleasure of having my home evaluated by master electrician Mike. He took his time to let me know the issues with my wiring and gave me multiple options to fit my budget and what they would entail.

Then, Prince came by with a coworker and replaced my service line, installed a new panel, and ran a new outlet up to the third floor - all without making any mess inside or outside of the house.

Finally, Joe came by to label the panel, verify that the previous installation was satisfactory, and tested all the circuits all over my home.

All three techs were extreme professional, courteous, and respectful of my time. It took a while to shop around, but I am very glad I went with GEN3, and I can see myself hiring them again for future electrical jobs.

Great experience! We had our Mini Split system installed by another company and after 2 years it broke. Gen3 promptly came our, diagnosed the problem (was installed incorrectly causing major failure of the system!) our mini split was fixed and blowing cold air in no time! Jimmy and Mike were polite, clean, respectful and informative in what they were doing! It was also a thunderstorm and hailing and they worked promptly and safely to get the job done!! I signed up for a yearly membership and look forward to having continued service with this company!

Justin was very informative even showed me how to descale my water heater by myself if needed. Had a brief issue with my water being brown only lasted a about 20 mins. I thought maybe it was my water heater causing the issue but Justin went over with me what the actual cause was. He is very knowledgeable! While at my house he also did a courtesy check on my AC unit. GEN3 always has the best guys in the job! Highly recommend.

Had a lovely visit today with Mike about our electricity. He was friendly and accomadating. I was worried about the things they would find, but he made the experience worthwhile. He explained everything well and made sure I was comfortable with any decision I made even if I did not make one today! I look forward to doing business with them in the future!

Upon contacting GEN3 because my gas furnace had died, I was quickly assigned a technician -Cliff Everett- who came to my home within hours. He communicated his arrival time, quickly diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate. Because the part for my 10 year old unit was not readily available, he lent us a portable space heater to hold us over. Two days later the part arrived, which Cliff promptly installed, and we were back in business! In two words: Courteous and competent! Thank you Cliff and GEN3!

Steve came to my house this morning to collect info for an estimate. He arrived at exactly the promised time, texted a photo/bio in advance so I would know who was coming, and was friendly and professional throughout. He took photos and notes, provided information about my house & answered all my HVAC questions. Said he would provide 3 options in a quote package he'd return today.
At no point did I sense he was trying to influence my choice-making or 'up-sell' add-ons. He kept things factual which I personally really appreciate.
I look forward to seeing his quotes and, if his experience/relatability is any indicator, I could imagine using Gen3 and being very happy.

Joe Petry called ahead to let me know when he would arrive, and he showed up right on time! Mr Petry replaced a smoke detector, and then showed me how to test and replace batteries when needed. He was polite, personable and very professional. We’ve used GEN3 for more than 10 years, and have always had great experiences with them.

Gen3 came out promptly, and helped me figure out a path forward for an issue that had been plaguing my home for a month, that multiple other contractors simply shrugged their shoulders at and said "Not my problem."

Gordon (the electrician) was professional, courteous, and unbelievably helpful. I will definitely be working with GEN3 more in the future.

We had GEN3 do some electrical work at our home today. Gordon was very professional and courteous. His work turned out great we are happy with the service, and pricing was fair. Great job GEN3/Gordon!

Dave C. came to my newly purchased home to give an estimate. He was professional, answered all my questions and discussed many options with me on what we could do to replace the aged air conditioning system in the house. I have not yet made a decision on the matter but Dave and GEN3 made a strong value proposition and they are in the front running for who we go with on this.
