Jacob was the first one to come out to talk to us about what type of Central Air Unit we were looking to have installed. He was extremely knowledgeable and helped us to select the right unit for us. On installation day, they had a whole crew / team out for delivery, checking the ducts / airflow and EVERYONE was so nice and professional. They had our new ac unit up and running in no time. We've already had it for one year and called for a one year maintenance check-up. Everything is running great and we are very pleased with system we purchased. We highly recommend Smart Choice. You won't be sorry!

If you want good old fashion customer service I highly recommend them! Allissa caring and going the extra mile was out of this century! Amanda in the office great communication! Jose the owner was great to make sure everything is done the way the customer wants it! My installation crew: Nick, Logan and Danny were the Best! And the electrician that came over from Eric Olson Nash and Joey were also way over the top with customer service! I do think I had one other installer that I’m forgetting, he was awesome too!

Smart Choice removed an old air conditioner and installed a new unit last July. When they installed the new unit they hooked up the drain pipe to the existing pipe, which unbeknownst to us did not have foam insulation around it. No mention of this was made to us by Smart Choice. As a direct result of this opening not being sealed, which the exterminators clearly pointed out, we had a rodent infestation which cost several thousand dollars to eradicate. When we brought this to Smart Choice's attention, they took no responsibility at all for this, stating that they merely hooked the new drain pipe to the existing drain. No apology at all. Our neighbor is having a new air conditioner installed. I told him about this incident and as a result he hired another company. When they gave him a bid, the drain pipe not being sealed was one of the first things they went over with him. They said it was a cost cutting method used by many builders, so they are welled versed in sealing this when they install new units. Clearly Smart Choice subscribes to those same unprofessional methods the builders use You have many choices in the Vancouver area. Trust me when I say use another company and do not hire Smart Choice.

This company always goes above and beyond, in our experience. When we had a problem with our furnace a year or two back, we called these guys who were booked pretty solidly for the week. We made an appointment and pulled out the space heaters to try to get through until the appointment. Within a few hours, we got a call that they had a tech who was free early, and asked if we wanted the service that day! They came and fixed the problem and we didn’t have a single cold night.
Based on that experience we had them out this year to inspect and clean the A/C unit … the news wasn’t good, it looks like our 14-year-old unit is in decline. I appreciated that the tech took extra time and called other people in the company to double-check everything before he gave us the verdict. For now, our A/C is still hanging on, but when we can afford it we’ll be using SmartChoice to do the replacement.

Really appreciate everything Jacob did. He was ultra knowledgeable, friendly, and was able to help us understand the issue and find solutions. Cannot recommend Smart Choice enough. We will be using their services again.

Seamless positive experience, fair price for services rendered. Extra attention was graciously given, and appreciated, to my newly installed Nest thermostat that needed tweaking. Smart Choice was definitely the right choice and will recommend to my neighbors who reside at the Terrace in Camas.

Jen was great with questions that I had about their service, either on the phone or in email. Jose and Dustin (I hope I got the names right) were professional and they had no issues with questions I had about what was needed, along with arriving promptly. They were able to get me in next day. The tech, Jacob, was on time, found and fixed the issue quickly, and gave me some tips to help minimize failure. Cost was reasonable. Very good experience all the way around.
