Recommended by my neighbor who has used them for years, I had them install a new furnace and air conditioner. They were on time, their HVAC crew was polite and answered my many question, prices were great. I'd recommend them.

We were able to get someone at our home right before the heatwave. The person who answered our call was incredibly helpful and got us set up with a tech the very next day.

The tech was friendly and professional, and believed our ac not cooling to be attributed to a slow leak, and needed a recharge/refrigerant. I was surprised to find out how much it cost, but it was worth it since we’re not in a position to purchase a new ac system

Greg went above and beyond. He is friendly, thoughtful and thorough. In addition to the heating system maintenance, which took a long time, in order to troubleshoot a problem, he did a partial inspection of my crawlspace and found very important findings that were completely missed by an inspector from another firm. He had his supervisor, Jacob, drop by in order to make sure that things are done right. It was very difficult diagnostic work. I was very impressed by Greg's service. He is a "star".

Fantastic experience. Thought my thermostat was broken and called for help. Scheduled same day appt and Jacob called and was able to arrive early. Friendly and efficient, he quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem, as well as helping me review and troubleshoot other potential upcoming issues with the furnace and a/c in my new home. Will use them for whatever heating and cooling needs I have going forward.

The operator who answered the phone had a can do attitude and was able to offer an appointment that was less than a week out despite another incredible heat wave in Portland.

The technician seemed to be knowledgeable, but the suggested repair was much higher than other bids. They also proposed a complete replacement which no other company suggested. Finally, the diagnostic fee of $149 seemed excessive, given one of the largest HVAC companies in Portland charges $99.

I ended up paying the $149 - they would not even consider lowering it to the market rate and not using them for the repair.

Jacob did a great job diagnosing our unit. He was great about educating along the way and gave options for getting the unit running. I had purchased and installed an inducer motor (online) myself only to find out that one of the motor speed didn't work. He got the unit running until a new part was able to arrive. I very much appreciate working with this business and from my experience would highly recommend using them. I feel he was very honest with me and had an interest in making sure I understood the unit and expectations.

My ac and heat stopped all at once and with it being 80 degrees this week it was stressful thinking about whether I could get someone to come look at it before it got warm. But they were able to get me in the same day, and Jacob ended up coming only hours after I called. Was very cleanly, wore mask and shoe covers which I greatly appreciate. He was very kind and took the time to explain the problem clearly. The board in our furnaced needed to be replaced and he had the part with him. Said he would install to see if that was the issue and wouldn’t charge us unless it fixed it. And it did! All done just a few hours after calling. They really saved me from an uncomfortable week! When it comes time to replace my system I know where I’ll be going. Thanks Jacob and the smart choice team!

These guys are absolutely amazing! My A/C went out over the weekend. Monday morning comes and at 7:30am I fill out their online form requesting service. By 8:10 they called me to say they were on the way and by 8:45 Jose was here! It's now 10am and I'm sitting in a cool house.

Jacob was courteous and professional during his service call. He was available and arrived an hour earlier the expected. He accessed the problem with both heat and A/C and after replacing a few components he had the system up and running. In addition he gave me a few helpful maintenance tip to perform on my unit to ensure it's smooth and efficient operation.

They were very prompt in getting someone out to evaluate our AC problem during a heat wave. The technician Greg was great and very knowledgeable. Jen who got us scheduled was also excellent and very informative. Highly recommend!
