The technician sent to our home was Brandon. He arrived both days when he was expected, very professional and polite. He communicated with us through the initial inspection as he found problems and during the repairs. We greatly appreciated how informative he was since we have no idea about the repairs needed to our AC unit. Excellent job, well done!

Recently we needed to address several issues noted in a home sale inspection.
We called Preferred Home Services and requested assistance.
We needed electrical help, plumbing help and HVAC help.
The next morning all 3 departments arrived and dove in.
Ted the HVAC repairman took care on a small issue.
Chris and Ian fixed the plumbing problem and
Heber, Kevin and Steve tackled the electrical work.
All of these guys were professional, reliable, ethical and pleasant.

Team did an overall great job! Fast and responsive. We needed to have a new heat pump installed on short notice right before Christmas! We felt like an important customer & compliments to the techs from trouble shoot to install. Holdan was in charge of our final heat pump install and is a sharp guy—well done! We felt like the entire process from initial call @ 9 p.m. to responsive next day service..thorough communication & professionalism was fantastic—we will definitely use and recommend Preferred again! Customer service does matter…and this team delivered!

I needed a plumber on short notice to repair or replace my leaking water heater. Other companies couldn’t help for several days. Preferred was there in less than two hours! William and Walter worked constantly for the next seven hours till my system was converted from a tank to a top notch tankless water heater! Super friendly, focused, highly professional!

He explains in depth all service/repair options, provides detailed photos, and leaves the work area immaculate. At the office level, Tara has always gone above and beyond to ensure our service needs are met in a timely manner, and she follows up to confirm the work was completed to our satisfaction. I called on Wed 1/11 afternoon and spoke with an incredibly kind and positive service representative who thoroughly went over what to expect and kept great communication about when I would expect a technician to arrive. I scheduled service for 1/12 AM, and was greeted by a very positive technician, Jason Cannady. I was floored at his professional and candid demeanor, he even welcomed my cats! Everything was explained in detail in a way I could understand (as someone who knows next to nothing about HVAC things) and even recommendations to improve my system were explained with pictures of my own set up and exactly how upgrades would help. I never felt pressured to commit to these, just educated and encouraged. He even cracked a few jokes while he was here and made my experience stress free (which is wonderful as I have pretty severe anxiety). Future and current customers are incredibly lucky to have Jason assist them. By far one of my favorite service technicians I have meet. I cannot say enough good things about him or Preferred Home Services and look forward to being a future customer for life.

We had a furnace failure over the holidays. We contacted our normal HVAC contractor, and after a week we had not received a proposal. We contacted preferred Home Services, and they had a consultant engineer at our house the next day. That same day we had a proposal from them, and the next day they had a crew at our house to perform the work which they accomplished in one day. The work accomplished was very well done and they were very considerate. Sadly, It’s not often that you work with a business these days and are satisfied. This company met and exceeded our expectations and we will be using them again in the future. I highly Recommend that you consider them.
