My technician Marcus was very helpful and patient. My only complaint and reason for lower “would you recommend” rating is due to the labor prices. I had a water heater that failed after 4 years. Luckily it was covered under manufacturers warranty but the labor was a bit much. I paid 1400$ for a new water heater AND labor in 2018 but ONLY labor to install the same 40 gallon water tank in 2023 is 1500$. As I mentioned before Marcus was amazing, he even called the warranty department and completed all steps to retrieve my return authorization number but once I saw the quote to install I could not continue and requested that Marcus provide me info to have another plumber install. Also it was mentioned that the premature failure could have been due to my PSI. This was not discussed at all during the initial install completed by preferred. I understand it’s possible that my PSI was not an issue at the time of installation but I know for sure that the tech did not verify my homes PSI which could have prevented this issue in the first place as I would of had a PRV installed. Nonetheless my biggest issue are the labor prices. Note that when the leak appeared a friend went into the crawl space and mentioned that there were some kind of “shark bite” parts being used and that was NOT industry standard and that I should mention it to the manager.

I had a great experience using Preferred Home Services for my annual HVAC maintenance. My technician Zach Fetuao was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to thoroughly answer all of my service related questions. I'll be requesting him for my next routine maintenance.

Eric the plumber and his helper Sean were very professional and excellent at their job. Although Eric did everything within his power to keep costs down, it was still over $2,400 which was quite a bit more than I thought it should have been. Which is the reason for the four star instead of a five-star review. However the workmanship was excellent.
