Henry and Glenn did an outstanding job on our HVAC system maintenance today. Everything was explained in detail on what was done and what needs to be done in the future and Henry showed me all the pictures. They even got rid of the trash that was left over from the previous maintenance. They are very knowledgeable and very professional. I would love to have them do our HVAC maintenance in the future again. Thank you very much!

Pushy to up sell unneeded work and unneeded materials. Expensive. Good workmanship but a little over priced, especially when they know you are in corner. $280 for two hours of work. Do the math. Loaded rate of $140 per hour for a plumber. Too high. Should only be like 2x the rate labor rate, at most. Had to pay it to get the hot water back on safely. All I needed was to clean out a water heater and install a new pressure expansion tank. Good thing I know what I needed. Stay away if you don't know much about plumbing, they will take advantage. They constantly are trying to call me back to up sell me a brand new hot water heater ($1500-$2000), Whole House Filter ($400-$800) (he said the one I have now is backwards, that was a lie/upsell tactic), and PRV. None of that is even needed. The water heating is a little old but there was not that much sediment etc in it. They use scare tactics to try and up sell. The invoice they provided was completely wrong. Now I have no documentation nor warranty about the work they did. MIGHT AS WELL JUST GET A CRAIGSLIST PLUMBER IF I DON'T GET A WARRANTY WITH THE WORK. $140 per hour but no warranty? Not even 90 days? In fact, plumber said he did not think the new pressure expansion tank and insisted I need a whole new water heater even after he did the work. STOP CALLING AND TRYING TO UP SELL. SALESMEN AND NOT PLUMBERS. THEY ARE STILL CALLING ME. JUST STOP.

Mike (Preferred sales person) visited promptly… took lots of measurements… inquired about specific needs… recommended options for my needs… lined up all needed equipment for a NEXT DAY INSTALL. Preferred install crew led by Clay was on time… explained what they would do… stayed on task until completion… thoroughly tested for proper operation… reviewed work performed… instructed me on operation… cleaned up well.

We used Preferred Home Services to help us deal with a leaky kitchen faucet before listing our house for sale. Since it wasn’t an emergency issue, we got pushed down the schedule a few days, but they still came within a week of me reaching out. They also have one of the most thorough scheduling services I have ever worked with, and I got constant text updates about when we would have someone at our house. It was so helpful and made me feel like they were trying their hardest to fit us in, even as more pressing matters came up. Chris H. came to inspect our faucet, and he explained everything so clearly and gave us all our options from the basic fix to solving every small issue. His recommendations were very fair, and he was willing to make minor fixes until we solved the leaking issue, even though we decided to bite the bullet and replace the entire thing. In all the entire process took about 2 hours, and he even stayed and started working while I went to get the replacement faucet so we wouldn’t have to schedule a new appointment. Overall it was a great experience, and I am so happy we chose them! Pricing was very fair for the level of service we received, and the installation is insured by them for two years.

Our technician Jake Phelps was professional, courteous, as well as having a great work ethic, and able to resolve our plumbing issue. All customer service including phone representative's and our plumbing technician Jake were excellent. Would highly recommend and use Preferred again.

We have been members with preferred since November 2022. We had the pipes replaced in our entire home by this company (9k later) . After the job was completed the technician told us he spoke with someone at his office and they were going to stop by to collect the debris that was left in our NEIGHBORS yard by the technicians the same evening (Friday) . After no one showed up to remove the debris I spoke with the office who informed me that message was never relayed and that no one was in the office now until Monday.I expressed how we would get a fine from our HOA (which we did) and again was told no one can pick it up until Monday. This is also after the technician fell through our ceiling (yes accidents happen) it was 3 weeks before someone was out to repair that. Since the pipes have been replaced the kitchen sink still leaks. Yesterday we had HVAC tech come for a standard HVAC tune up (included in the monthly member) While working outside the tech came in to tell me that they pulled something and lost a lot of Freon out of our unit. Instead of immediately replacing the Freon that was spilled, they left and my home has been at 76° since. We have been members with this company for less than 6 months, have had 2 jobs done and have had 2 jobs turn into issues. We are hoping for this issue to be resolved. With 2 babies 76° is unacceptable especially since the unit was functioning properly before the technicians came.
