I reached out and was able to speak to a customer service manager (Jamal) who provided insight as to their company standard as well as refunded the service charge. He listening to my concerns and was kind about it. I appreciate that they did take the time to listen and refunded the service charge. However, I do stand with the two star review at this time. I appreciate the customer service after the review.

Had a preferred services technician come out to service our HVAC. Was told that they could not service it or add Freon. Was provided a thorough and lengthy list of repairs or option to replace.
However, I called another reputable company for a second opinion. They came out were able to service it, add Freon and the HVAC is now working very well (even for an old unit). I feel mislead and do not understand how the findings could be so different between two company’s. One quoted several thousands of dollars and did not do anything to service the HVAC and the other was able to get it in working order for just a service charge.

Kevin is AMAZING!!! He diagnosed our issue immediately and fixed it promptly. He was extremely professional and polite. He even explained everything as he went about making everything work perfectly. We are thrilled to give him a 5 star rating and would be delighted to make it 10 stars if it were possible.

A bit of an emergency turned into a full on 911. The customer service representative found someone and immediately set up the dispatch. It much bigger job than anticipated and Travis came fully knowledgeable and totally prepared. We're all set with no worries, and their work is guaranteed.

Preferred home services came to our rescue when we found a 30 plus yr septic tank on our property(didn’t know we had… surprise); which resulted in a total replumb of our home, a sump pump & water heater installation, and main sewer line repair. Everyone from office to all the guys that worked on our home were absolutely fabulous. Especially Johnny and Alan that really made sure they provided us with quality workmanship.

John came to do our electrical inspection. He found a few things that could be fixed to make the house safer. Very low stress/low pressure when he gave us the list. We decided to make the recommended changes. John was able to do all the work during the visit. Very friendly, great work. Would recommend.

Clint with plumbing came by a few days ago as well. He was awesome. Knowledgeable and willing to help however needed.

Both John and Clint will be getting business from us again!

From the beginning call requesting service, through delivery and follow-up of the repairs each technician and sales person maintained a high level of professionalism. The up-front estimate of work was accurate and there were no additional add-ons. Speaking with the technicians, I felt comfortable in the level of knowledge and the explanations were detailed. None of my questions overwhelmed them and I was not talked down to like some other companies will do. Overall, an unfortunate series of events turned out to be a pleasing experience and hopefully the service contract provided will continue to help us in the future. Thank you.

From the initial inspection for the estimate through to the follow up after a complete replacement of our entire plumbing, Preferred Home Services has been beyond amazing! Every member of the team has been professional and incredibly courteous.
The response times, attentiveness, and thoroughness have been exceptional.
As someone who manages an aspect of a large service based business, and has many years experience in the construction industry, I am beyond impressed at the knowledge and level of service! I will absolutely only use PHS for everything I possibly can and will recommend them every chance I get!

When I dropped something on the faucet of our new water heater, it broke and flooded our garage. I was devastated and thought I had to get a new one. Aaron saved our new water heater, repaired everything and was really professional. He even did some courtesy work while he was waiting for the heater to fill again. He also showed me some tips and tricks to maintain the heater. It was a bit pricey, but the service and professionalism was definitely worth it!! Also, Aaron came with a lot of equipment and the service comes with 2yrs warranty. That justifies the pricing.

John Chrysostom was our technician and he was so professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He explained everything and throughly checked our home for electrical issues. He explained everything with confidence and the knowledge that made us feel comfortable with him installing/replacing items needed in our home.

We had never used Preferred before, but tried them when our kitchen sink backed up. Our technician, Revlon, was so pleasant and thorough. He discovered that our hot water heater was leaking, which we did not know about. Although we had to pay a good bit more than expected, I'm glad he discovered it before it really became an issue and we were in real hot water. LOL!
