John McGill was very detailed in his explanation of what he was going to do and I appreciated his honesty. He seemed to be a detailed tech as I have been all my life. It is a pleasure having a professional servicing my HVAC system!

From the original phone call in, to our fantastic experience on-site with Carlos Arana, we would recommend Michael & Sons to anyone in the Charlotte area! Tommy was the best. Had a breaker box that we couldn’t locate to trip the breaker. Actually showed us where it was and how to open it. He gets a 10 rating on our scale!!!!

The bad: I needed one outside flood light replaced and one bathroom exhaust fan /light combo replaced. I already had the replacement fixtures on hand. Both of these things I could have done myself but to save myself the time I decided to pay someone for the convenience. Both jobs were super simple and when I booked the appointment online it gave an estimate for each job of $69. It in no way explained that $69 was merely the dispatch fee. For an hour of work they quoted me a price over $1,000. I said absolutely not and did not go through with the service. After the technician left I installed the flood light myself and since I still didn't want to deal with the exhaust fan, I called another company that had done good work for me in the past. They quoted me $225 to replace the exhaust fan. Michael and sons prices are nowhere near competitive or reasonable.
The good: I was able to easily book an appointment online and receive service the very next day. Also Carlos, the person dispatched to my home waved the dispatch fee when he realized there was a misunderstanding on the estimates given online. He was very nice.

Did not use the business as of yet, financial reasons, the tech that came to the house was very knowledgeable about his product, very courteous, mannerly and respectful, I would use this business if I come up with the money just because of him, he sold me on himself and that makes a difference in getting the product. Thank you

Carlos in Charlotte at Michael & Sons fixed out electrical issues at our home. Carlos fixed our electrical issues in the new home that my fiancé & I purchased so we can finally use our oven.

Tyler and Dylan did a great job installing my HVAC unit. They did a great job explaining every step of the process. Communication is key and they are great at what they do. I would highly recommend these guys and Michael and Son for any HVAC install.

Brian Baltimore was the service rep and was extremely helpful, professional and finished the job quickly while ensuring service was done correctly. Overall project was a little expensive but service was definitely a plus

Jody assisted me with a plumbing issue for our pool house. I am no expert but he appeared to do an outstanding job and was incredibly informative, responsive and hard working.

We were waiting for installation of a new AC unit and our son was going to be home for the weekend before they could install. They came over with a wall unit so he would be comfortable!
