Representative gave me a window of 8-10pm and they showed up at 445pm. Normally that would a good thing however I told them I was working until 730pm. Of course I get home and I get a notice saying they missed me and for me to call back - which I did and they couldn't get someone until after midnight.
I then call to complain to a supervisor, whom was super nice and understanding, and she sent a technician over by 10:30pm and technician himself was super duper nice and told me I'll have heat in 45 min and so I went to bed (without showering cause I have no heat and hot water) and when I wake up 61/2 hours later; no heat or hot water.
Had to call again the next morning and had to explain and they are now sending me another technician between 6-9pm. I'm freezing - for 2-3 days.

I've been without heat for 18 hours and I'm told the service techs aren't willing to tell us when someone will be here. They've missed my 7am-12pm window with "no more information" and they never showed up on my annual service date after I took off work.

The representatives on the phone are super nice and some of the techs seem well-qualified and smart but this is a nightmare.

The technicians are always friendly and go the extra mile to make your experience as painless as possible. They do not leave your home until the job is completed to your satisfaction. Technicians like Orlando, Anthony, Rick, George (all of them) treat you like family. The managers like Supervisor Isabel Lopez Cruz make sure that your needs are met, that you are comfortable with all the details of a transaction and that all paperwork is completed. Her personal touch with phone calls and emails when needed helped me build trust through difficult situations. I would recommend Petro to any homeowner who needs an all service company.

Fred is an excellent tech. He was so pleasant and understanding.
Passing no judgement as he told me what was wrong with my situation.
Compared to a preview tech who behaved as if he didn't want to work Fred made me realized that there are good techs still left in this company. Thank you very much Fred. I'll personally request you for all my service needs.

Technicians came quickly I will give them a star for that. Usually we are waiting hours. Simple fix thermocouple so we thought. No heat again upon waking this morning. Now waiting again it’s 8am and they are scheduled for 1-5pm. Every experience with this company is awful. Do the job right the first time.

Petro service is horrible. They don't know how to handle an emergency. I was without heat and hot water during the most coldest days in winter. We requested for 5-8pm window, instead the technician came to see us at 1pm and we were not able to come home to meet him. Let me tell you about the technician visits, we have requested for half an hour notice, so we can get back home, but if we run late, the technicians harass you that if you don't get there, they will leave. Since we are so frustrated or desperate for their service, we plead with them or rush to get home.. Dire circumstance.
When we called back, we expected them to apologize for sending service at the wrong time and expect them to send the technician immediately as it is an emergency, but were told the technician was only able to come in the mid night. It was impossible for us to stay up so late, due to working/school days the following day.
When they offered us the usual wide window, 8 am to 12pm, we took it hoping they will send the technician to us first thing, since they will understand the emergency. The following day, I called the customer service at 8am, was told we were the first people the technician would visit, so we waited patiently in the cold, I didn't hear from anyone until 10am, so I kept calling them every half hour from then on and every person that received the call, explain the situation that I am waiting since yday and have no heat or hot water the whole day, so I am hoping to see a technician immediately. I would be told we are the next people. And so the calls continued until 3pm(3 hours over the window). I was told there was another major emergency and technician should not be expected until 4pm. That was the final straw, I was super upset!! What is the definition of an emergency?!! I was so upset on the phone that even customer service recommended I speak with the field supervisor. I am still waiting for that call. Guess they will call me a week after, so that I will be somewhat over this aggravation.
I called Skaggs Walsh and Lone star to get quotes. I am definitely not continuing with Petro. We have been customers with Petro for 4/5 years. This isn't the first time that this has happened.

Petro arrived ahead of the time frame indicated when I called about our no hot water/no heat problem with our burner. The technician was courteous, listened to our observations about what had been happening, and fixed it quite quickly. All in all - a first rate experience.

This company is horrible they have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced their customer representatives are not helpful. I was given complete and total misinformation when I opened the account to what I’m being told which something different from each representative. I regret doing business with this company. Actively looking for a better company.

Back in December they made me sign a contract - In March they delivered oil and I noticed a way higher bill. I called and let them know that price is way higher then what I agreed upon and asked them to pull my contract regarding. Its been 2 weeks I been calling them to fix issue and I am always told that someone will call me back. I requested them to take their Oil back and they say they don't do it.
I would suggest to ask for a hard copy of contract and don't believe these people words.
