    My furnace had gone up on Tuesday in my house. The first tech Joel came out on Wednesday and looked at it and it required a little more work then expected. So he told me that he would be out Thursday morning with his Team Leader Kevin. Since my furnace wasn’t working I wasn’t in the house. They waited for me to arrive to the house, which was really thoughtful of them. They were able to fix my furnace 🙏🏾! Both Kevin and Joel did an amazing job getting it back up and running! I’m so thankful to them and BGE home. I wanted to make sure that they know how appreciative I am. Awesome work Team leader Kevin and Joel!

    The technicians who come do a good job. But scheduling is a major challenge. We pay for a home service contract and with an oven not functioning the earliest date they would schedule is more than 11 days out, and that is only after we suggested that a month was unacceptable.
    UPDATE: I was able to chat with customer service online and we're now looking at five days out. A significant improvement. As always, the people are extremely nice as are the technicians who come. They just really need to do something about shortening the time for service contract holders. It's a recurring problem, even pre-pandemic.

    Our service technician, Don, was professional, friendly, and helpful! He was able to quickly diagnose the problem and fix the issue at hand. Since the repair (a couple of weeks ago), everything is running smoothly and efficiently.

    Getting in touch and scheduling an estimate was very timely. Everyone that I met throughout the entire process was very professional and knowledgeable. The team of installers/technicians were on time every day and did a fantastic job! They were also very respectful of the fact that I am currently working from home. Going into this project, I was very nervous because I had just bought this old house, but I was really impressed with how smoothly everything went. I would absolutely recommend BGE Home and use them for future projects.

    Ever since the transfer from BGE to Constellation Home what s cluster. Can’t pay my bill online or get someone to answer the phone and take my money for my home service plan . Wasted well over an hour of my time today. Really?

    I pay almost $100 a month for their home services; I have paid this for 9 months and never requested service. I called today, because I am having trouble with an appliance. The earliest available appointment they could give me is 42 (FORTY-TWO!!!!!) days away. They just scheduled me for APRIL 21. I will have to replace the appliance before then. This contract is a total scam and waste of money.

    BGE Home has provided reliable home services in the past, and I have contracts for plumbing and electrical, and water and sewer line services. Something seems to have changed, and I am alarmed and disappointed. I called to request emergency service for a back up into my lower level kitchen sink on November 30. Dark water was standing in the sink to the point of being ready to overflow. I was told they could get someone out to my home on December 13th, almost 2 weeks! When I pressed the issue, they revised it to December 4. After considerable time and "checking", they finally agreed to send someone out the next day, but could not give an approximation of when they would arrive. I had to call another plumbing firm, who agreed to send someone out by 10 that evening. I feel BGE Home should be able to do better, and I'm questioning the value of the contract if I have to resort to other plumbing firms for service.

    I called BGE Home because the sinks were draining poorly. I was told 99. I was not informed that there would be additional charges. I think transparency is very important when conducting business. As a customer I deserve to know that there will be additional charges. I was extremely disappointed that this information was not communicated to me. Therefore, I feel that it is a waste of time and money that I stay with your company. I will save my money and pay another company outright should should another new arrises.I will be canceling my service with you guys. This is not the way to do business.

    Do not sign up for their HVAC warranty and upkeep programs!!! The service was exceptionally subpar. When I sold the home, I contacted them to have my service discontinued. I’ve since had to call them 8 times and spent over 6 hours on the phone, with each agent apologizing and telling me they had resolved the issue…. Only to be charged more each month with associated late fees. Kicker is I called them again this week, got the same song and dance about them correcting the issue but then received a notice of collections. Warranty programs are a complete scam so stay away.

    I operate another local plumbing company and still receive solicitations to come work for them. They are constantly emailing all of our employees to their WORK emails after multiple requests to remove us. I understand the solicitation, but to solicit their work emails as mine once a month is unprofessional. Further not responding to my MANY requests to remove us is far more unprofessional.

    Edit: 6 months later and nothing has changed. Still getting solicitations.
