    In 2021, A BGE (now Constellation) representative suggested that I have someone come to my home for a "free" energy conservation assessment. The representative that came to my home suggested installing fiber glass in my attic to reduce my monthly bills. I did as directed for over $1100.

    Not only did the added insulation installation not reduce my bills, apparently rodents are attracted to fiberglass, and ate through the fiberglass insulation. No one from
    Constellation advised me on this potential issue, and when I spoke to a Constellation representative to discuss the problem, the representative was very dismissive. I even asked if someone could come look at the damage rodents did to the fiberglass, and the representative refused. I strongly discourage customers from using any of Constellation's contractors for energy "improvements" to your home. A complete waste of time and money! Very disappointed in this company!

    I have been trying to call for 3 weeks and can not get anyone on the phone either thru billing or service I want to pay my bill and talk about adding a service called no exaduration 30 times and stayed on hold 5 to 25 minutes per time before hanging up are they still in business if so I dont know how

    This company was unable to locate parts for my fridge 3 ordered only got 1 part installed and after waiting for months after still no other parts so the 1 installed now bad because the other parts were not changed. After months cancelled my contract and they are still sending me bills and
    Still nothing from this company filed a bbb complaint today someone needs to step up and contact me

    BGE Home is okay overall. They are available 24x7 to receive service calls but it takes a week or more for them to send the technician. Our AC stopped working in the middle of peak summers and it took few days to get the technician but he was able to resolve the issue same day he came to look at the problem. Generally, I found the technicians actually knowledgeable and experienced and are able to provide good service.

    Never using them again. We have been with BGEHome for many years. But this is the last straw. They are happy to take your money, but when it comes to fixing your equipment, they are lazy and are quick to tell you that they cannot do the job unless I purchase a whole new system, despite the fact that other companies have been able to help. Why do we bother to pay extra every month for the service?

    We won't anymore.

    I have bge home full service for last 8 years. My wachine machine got repair and ordered for parts atmost for month now. Service ticket on 09/24. No response from them and when I called always telling one reason to execuse. I don't how they are running this business. Worst customer service.

    Update: In response to my review below, Constellation Home called me and sent one of their field HVAC supervisors to take care of me. He thoroughly checked my HVAC system, tweaked my settings,. Then indoor air quality called me to suggest that if it was still not cooling upstairs, I might consider a second zone HVAC system. So, last week (I think it was Friday) I submitted a request for quote to see about the cost and what all, physically, would be required; I am waiting for a call back.
    Original review: The customer care rep did what she promised; she connected me to service. The next one corrected the notes and re-connected me to Service. The problem is that unless they were trying to sell me something, no one called as promised to address my service request.
    I called to have someone come out to see why my cool air is not reaching the upstairs. An HVAC person came out and referred me to Indoor Air Quality. Someone from Service called to sell me a air duct cleaning service. I restated my problem and he promised to call me back on Friday (26Aug2022) (no one called me back). So, I am back to calling for Service. I have called at least four times (one initial and three follow-ups) and still no resolution. I already have 75% of the plans they offer; I have been a full home customer since 2003.

    Waste of time. Made an appointment for the $50 HVAC maintenance special, the waiting list was so long I had to make it two months in advance. On the appointment day, I got several text notifications, starting with one confirming the appointment window (7:30am to noon). Got another when the appointment window had passed, at 12:04, notifying me that the technician was now scheduled to arrive "this afternoon" but that I'd be notified when they were on the way. Got a final voicemail (not text message) an hour and a half later, expressing regret that the technician had missed me at home. Never got a text that they were on the way, as promised, and there was never a knock on the door or anything indicating the technician had arrived. And of course, can't reschedule for another month. Seems from the reviews that this scheduling/notification issue has been going on for some time now - time to invest in an effective scheduling/notification system.

    So I just watched a commercial about how BGE Home is 24hrs. So not true and false advertising. I have an appliance contract not that it mattered when my hot water tank started to leak on a Sunday. I called BGE/Constellation Home to get someone out in order to get it replaced. I was told I had to wait until Monday because I could make an appointment when the office opened. That was really funny but I didn't find it funny with water leaking and me sweeping water into the sump pump. It doesn't make sense to adveetise your 24hrs when that's not the case. To have a contract with a company that schedules you out a month when you're washing machine goes up just doesn't make sense. Did I mention I have an appliance contract. I won't beat that drum again because I've already made my complaint. Change your commercial BGE/Constellation Home. Its not true.

    Since switching over to Constellation Home I've had nothing, but great experience and awesome service. I had been having problems with my bathroom toliet for some time. The tech was great. He diagnosed the issue and it didn't take long for him to take care of the repairs. I also appreciate him working with me and my schedule, as while he was here I was also working and he made everything seamless for me. Thank you so much!!

    I called on Sunday about my warranty system not cooling my home. I was very upset with you inabillity to respond in a reasonable time. I am an elderly and been a widow for 6 years. I have been very disappointed with your continuing decline in service over the last 5 years truly. Your company was second to none up until then. Today however, I will say that although it took me 5 days to have you respond to my call for service which for a warranty customer is absolutely ridiculous. I got to meet one of the best guys I have ever had in my home. He was a team leader I believe or supervisor. His name was Mr Kennedy. He was extremely open to listening to all of my concerns from over the last 4 years. He quickly after our conversation repaired my system and explained all repairs and gave me his personal number to his work phone. This is true customer service. I feel like I finally had someone who would listen to me and help me. Mr Kennedy while I would hate to see him not in service should be your customer service trainer. Your company stands to learn a lot from someone like him your call takers are extremely rude and clearly do not have an ounce of compassion for your customers. I would highly recommend your company gets your people trained the way that you had done for so many years up until about 5 years ago. I will only because of my experience today with Mr Kennedy be contining my service.
