Glasco's quote was very competitive and along with Costco discount, the deal was even better. Installation process took approximate a day with two people arriving on schedule timed and finishing up the work. They clean the place nicely before leaving. My new lennox system is working great.
The install was good. The actual size was a bit bigger then what I had expected. 1/3 it's viewed size. I am still waiting for the cost effectiveness after my first ele. bill which should be affordable
Not one for reviews ... but Glasco service, cost and installation experience was just so excellent that I wanted to share with others. At every step they were professional and responsive; in the initial site visit by the owner he quickly determined options and provided good solid information. Once we contracted, they quickly put us on their schedule and did an EXCELLENT job of replacing both our Heating and Cooling. They pointed out and ensured we received rebates and tax credits ... and, they were very, very affordable over other options.
I signed up at Costco for Glasco HVAC to come to my house and quote a 3 ton heat pump to replace my existing 34 year old central A/C.
What a wonderful experience. From Tim the salesman, to the woman I spoke with at the office, to Bob the owner coming out to determine all the material his team would need to install the system efficiently in one day and to the care that John, Liam, David and Isiah took protecting my floors, performing a clean install and explaining how the new thermostat worked. This is a professionally run company with a great crew.
I was home all day and heard John coaching his team as he had one apprentice on the job with him. The whole team worked together helping each other. It was a pleasure to watch.
Thank you Glasco Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc for a very positive experience. 5 stars all the way.
Paul and his team were great. They went above and beyond the quote with the install. I was impressed with the craftsmanship. Paul had no interest in selling me anything more then I needed and then installed more then he quoted to ensure everything was done right. Excellent company and team. Can't recommend them enough.
Glasco installed a two part split ductless system. Two outdoor units, 6 air handlers inside. Great people to work with, excellent installation techs did a very neat job, and promptly completed the work. System works as we had hoped, very happy with the system and their work.
Owners came out to the job site, showed up 5 mins early, ran a quick inspection and within 48 hrs had a quote for an AC install (I already had the duct work). Their team scheduled an install date, arrived on time and was nice. They installed equipment, tidied up their work spaces and were done ahead of schedule.
Their quote beat out several other quotes I received and they left me feeling like I could trust them. The guys that installed the equipment were a reflection of the owners and great people.
*UPDATE: Day 8, Wednesday. First day with both furnaces working, no service calls, or high carbon monoxide levels.
*UPDATE: Day 7, Tuesday. We were forced to evacuate the house after our carbon monoxide and smoke detectors went off. Basement was smoky. Called 911 and shut off all burners. Fire department recorded carbon at 170+ ppm. Fans were deployed to expel the air. Glasco called in again and this time the service manager showed up. A faulty adjustment to the burner in the Glasco installed and serviced furnace was identified as the cause of the carbon monoxide and smoke. Service manager explained how the adjustment might have gone wrong and asked me to take down this review. No comment on the cascade of other problems since the service visit a week earlier.
(Carbon monoxide poisoning is deadly. We are glad our detectors worked, but Glasco put our lives at risk. I would have called a different company, but we were facing an emergency.)
*UPDATE: Day 6, Monday. No heat on the first floor, confined to upstairs bedrooms, where heat was restored. Technician worked on unit and replaced the nozzle Glasco had installed earlier in the week. Heat back by mid afternoon.
*UPDATE: Day 5, Sunday, and we are still cold. The on-call technician came yesterday, but claimed he could not get the right part until the office opened on Monday. After I posted complaints on social media, a new tech came to the house and installed the “unobtainable” parts. Soon after he left, however, a large rumble shook the house and our second unit (which Glasco had also “serviced” this week) stopped working.*
We have a furnace that was purchased from and installed by Glasco two years ago. We were told that we needed to sign a service contract with them to maintain the warranty. This week, a Glasco technician broke the furnace during a routine maintenance visit under the contract. We have had two subsequent service calls with Glasco and the issue remains unresolved. It is mid-January, and they have left us without heat for four days and counting.
So, what does it mean to have a warranty maintained by Glasco of the biggest risk to our system is Glasco itself?
Glasco Heating & Air Conditioning installed my new Lenox heating & cooling system that I find is very efficient in heating my house this winter. It seemed to have more power to force the heat through my floor vents. I didn’t have to keep the temperature up over 65 degrees to keep warm, even lowered it down to 63 sometimes. Haven’t used the air conditioner due to winter months. Glasco people were very friendly and professional, right on time too. I highly recommend Glasco!
