Pacific Heating & Cooling

We called pacific because that’s who installed and maintenances our system. We heard a diffetent noise coming from the outside unit. For $119.00 they’ll come and do a diagnostic on your system. I was charged $130.00. Then they gave a repair estimate of $8,700.00. They said the condenser, compressor, capacitor and fuse needed to be replaced. They recommended that we replace the whole system inside and out due to the fact it’s 30yrs old and that the r22 refrigerant will be a costly buy because they don’t make it anymore. I decided to call a few more companies. After speaking to 6 other companies I decided to test it myself. I got some knowledge from the internet and library. After testing the things they said needed replaced it was showing that they were all ok. So I cleaned they coil and the whole system inside and out. They wanted to charge me between $13,000.00-$20,000.00 to replace the whole thing. It didn’t cost me a thing and my heat is hot and the cooling is cool. I went and purchased a capacitor for$7.10 off Amazon and I already had the fuses. So when it needs to be replaced I will have spent $7.10 for a repair. The industry is terrible they don’t care about saving a buck or helping out the customer. It’s all about money. I’m glad I didn’t fall for there way of scamming the people. Good luck everyone

Work was performed to diagnose heat pump failure. The issue was determined, cost estimate for replacement was presented, reviewed, and emailed to me. Parts need to be ordered.

Brain came out to look at our old furnace heater. He was knowledgeable about the unit even though it was installed in 1996. He was through. He was able to give best guess solution. We are deciding what make sense to do next.

Our annual Ductless Heat Pump service was completed by Jess and Isaiah, and they were professional, efficient, and friendly. They were thorough in the explanations and recommendations for our Heat Pump, and were generally wonderful to work with. This was our second service with Jess, and we hope to work with him and/or Isaiah again in the future.
