    I found our technician, Anthony to be a true expert going the extra mile to explain every step in the diagnostic process of furnace maintenance. Very committed to providing excellent customer service, the most thorough inspection of our furnace inner workings, electrical connections and testing of components to make sure we're prepared for winter. On top of that, the entire inside of the unit was brushed and vacuumed of dust.

    I recently purchased a home that had a heat pump installed by puyallup heating, the heat stopped working so I had a puyallup heating tech come out and the tech found the defrost control board was bad, I got a 2nd opinion and it was found that the heat pump had went out due to improper installation and the defrost control board was fine.

    Puyallup Heating has been great to work with from service and repair to installing an entire new system. Their tech Jason is absolutely the best to work with - a consummate professional who is very knowledgeable but explains a complex system in plain understandable language. Highly recommend.

    I have to say this is the 2nd time I’ve used this company for A/C and furnace. The first time to do maintenance on both units. Even though my furnace is 25 years old they said no work needed. The A/C is 15 years old and no work needed (3 years ago). My A/C is now 18 years old and stopped blowing cold air. He came out and explained what happened and said a capacitor needed to be replaced. He also said the fan motor will need to be replaced in the near future but didn’t need it right away.
    Both times the techs were completely honest. It was very refreshing. Both tech so nice and didn’t take advantage because I’m a woman. I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend!!!!

    I bought a mini-split ductless heater 4 years ago from Puyallup Heating. In the last week of December we had snow and the heater stopped working. The unit was still under warranty. They stated they couldn't come look at it until the end of the week, 4 days later. Once they were out they charged me $163.90 to tell me they couldn't fix it or even look at it until the snow had melted. So, even though the unit was installed by them and under warranty I was refused repair of a necessary heater until later. I had to call several times to get them to send someone out. A young "repair" person arrived, wandered around and told me he had no idea what was wrong with it and left. I had a return call from Puyallup Heating, not about the repair, but telling me they were ready to sell me a new furnace (unrelated to this issue, but they were ready for me to give them more money). I had to call again and insist on the ONE repair person that works there that actually knows what is going on - Jason. He came out and immediately noticed the fuses were blown and suspected it was the board inside the unit. He got the part and returned to install it. The part was covered by warranty, but I had to pay another $163.90 in labor costs. This whole process took 3 weeks to get the heater repaired. A unit they sold me that was faulty. I shouldn't have to pay the first fee to diagnose a faulty unit. They shouldn't refuse service in winter. They shouldn't have someone in the repair department that doesn't have a clue what he is doing. I will never do business with Puyallup Heating and suggest you don't either. Very poor customer service and very poor repair response. If they ever lose Jason they will fail completely as a repair business.

    Honestly I didn't think I'd be writing another review concerning Puyallup Heating but after Thursday (6/9) when Jason came out on a service call, I had to report it.

    On 11/11/21, my wife and I were happy with the purchase, process and installation of our system. Yes, there were a couple of service calls following the event but that was to be expected wasn't it? One of those early calls included my concern over the blinking light inside the furnace housing every time the unit kicked on, etc. Anyway, all that aside, I showed Jason (the repair person) the unit and stepped away. I don't think 10 or 12 minutes had the time to pass before he announced its successful completion. In my way of thinking that really was a little too fast but his stature and protocol combined with the MOST QUIET operation I EVER witnessed from my still new unit refused disagreement. Honestly I couldn't be more pleased with the results of a service call and Puyallup Heating. By the way, the blinking light hasn't blinked since Jason's visit and the exquisite quiet continues.

    I called in for emergency AC repair in our office and the operator was able to send technicians over within the next hour! They did an excellent clean job, fixed our unit and it was very easy to coordinate with them.

    I was blown away from the professionalism from Puyallup Heating & Air Conditioning. The service department scheduler was extremely nice and helpful. He was able to squeeze me in the following day after my initial call. I was pretty sure I knew what the issue was and he gave me a reasonable quote right over the phone. The repairman arrived earlier than expected. I received a text message stating he was on his way and I was able to follow along on a map as he got closer to my house so I knew exactly what time he'd arrive. The repairman that came to the house was able to get my issue fixed in less than an hour. Thankfully my repair came at the low end of the quote. They will be the first company I call for any future heating and/or air conditioning needs in the future.

    Our unit stopped working. We had another company come look at our unit. They said our issue was not covered under the warranty and wanted to charge us a lot. We contacted Puyallup Heating & A/C and they fixed our system using the warranty. The overall process was quick and easy. They even told us the other company misdiagnosed the issue and it would not have fixed the problem. We had paid maintenance with the other company, but refuse to use it. Instead, we signed up for maintenance using Puyallup Heating & A/C. We will only use a company that is honest and we can trust.
