We called Puyallup Heating and Air for a replacement of our furnace and an installation of air conditioning. I do careful research and had five companies come out to bid on the project. The brand they wanted to install, Carrier, is the top rated HVAC equipment out there. After Erik Hoover came out and thoroughly explained the options and process, and the fact they were very reasonably priced, it became obvious that they were the right company to choose. After selecting them the installation was completed the next day. We are very happy with the installation and would use them again. Thanks Erik. Greg Rose
From beginning to end, these guys were absolutely fantastic! Then when we had our first little concern, Mark came to our home and figured it out quickly. I’d like to personally thank Mark! Puyallup Heating and Air is very fortunate to have Mark on their team! Sincerely, Mark & Bobbie Lynn
I highly recommend Puyallup Heating & Air...I had another company come out to do my yearly maintenance, and they stated that my heat exchanger was cracked and I need to replace the furnace, as well as issues with my heat pump which needed to be replaced (lowest bid from them was $21k, highest was $55k.) I called PH&A and Eric came out to give me a bid on replacement items. He looked at the furnace and did not see a crack. He suggested that I book an appointment to have a service technician come out and take a look at both items. Jason came out and did a great job! He took my furnace apart and sure enough, no crack in the heat exchanger (and showed me multiple pictures to prove it.) After looking at my heat pump, he said all I needed was a contact replaced. So nice to run into honest employees that are just not out to take your money! 5+ stars!
Started out strong with Puyallup heating on a project so decided to call them for another project i needed finished. Person i spoke to on the phone told me they dont do bypass dampers and to call brennan heating. Didnt realize a heating company couldnt install 2x 8inch take offs and a few pieces of straight pipe. Refused to even come out and bid the job. Never even got passed the answering person. I have money apparently its not good enough for them. Past projects included, repairing duct work, and install of a filter grill. Easy stuff. - Update. 4/22-23 I stand behind my first review. My inquiry wasn't a big ticket item and thus the company decided i was not worth the time to even be interested. I would further take my money somewhere else. I have hired this company for 2x visits. Once was to check my side discharge heat pump for excessive noise, the tech was fresh out of school, unable to connect to my heat pump as he stated in his words " i dont have the correct connections for my tools, ive only worked here 3 months" He went into my attic, looked at my air handler and said everything was fine. I wasted money on that visit. The second was to perform work on a recently purchased home in which Puyallup heating had previously installed the whole new heat pump system by the clear sticker on the panel, this was a new system in which an old baseboard heaters were removed, this was performed before i owned the home and thus called the sticker on the air handler. I was called back at end of day, advised someone would show up to look at my issues, which they did, and be quoted for the items i wanted. This was all an excellent response time and the work performed was excellent. Note, they performed the repairs and upgrade i asked but never quoted or asked for payment. I even called in to make payment on the work as i was overjoyed at the quality and speed. I did not authorize the work to be done but was pleased. After being told i was of no value to the company on my last call i will be sure to tell each and every person i know in the industry to not WASTE there time to call in and ask for a reasonably hvac skilled item to be performed. I will update my review to reflect communications. You obviously know the call so you can obviously call my number.
Puyallup Heating and Air was excellent when we needed to have our furnace replaced. Added A/C during furnace replacement as well. Overall install went smoothly and happy with our new system as well as any follow up to check on how it was working.
Quick to come out and look at my furnace (and collect $) but completely non-responsive after that. I called every week for over a month in November, most times no one answered and I left messages that were not returned. When I did talk to someone it was as if I was bothering them. Didn't hear back from supplier, can't find OEM replacement, need to get another quote. I agreed to pay, just needed a paper quote but that seemed to be too much to ask. Got through the winter with space heaters. Noticed my first review wasn't posted or was removed.
Puyallup Heating really came through for us when our furnace gave out during one of the coldest weeks of the year. We were happily suprised when we were informed that they would be able to install our new system the next day. We were completely satisfied with every aspect of our experience from sales to installation. A big thank you to the whole team!
Addition of upstairs bonus room return air grill with ductwork and an additional supply in the bonus room. Insulation of ductwork minimized the noise level and extra Owing's Corning pink board insert into attic access. Goal is to condition bonus room both heating and air conditioning. Thanks Daniel, Tanya, Mark and Eric from Puyallup Heating and Air Conditioning. “Great Job”
I called Puyallup Heating for a Heating/AC tune up. They were able to come out in 3 days. The tech was right on time. He was friendly, very professional, and checked out both units. For a very reasonable price. we know our units our in good running shape. The tech was thorough and I got a nice, detailed report about my units. I highly recommend them.
Took bids, signed with them and paid large report. Waited for months (no rush) and took Monday off for install. Friday night 10 minutes before they close a guy calls and says they can’t give me the carrier I ordered but some odd brand. I call back, they are closed. Bait and switch is still a thing. They had months to let me know. This is awful and I am furious. I had a lower bid for another Brand name that I will be using. Now let’s see if the give my money back on the deposit. 😡
