    I called PH&AC shortly after purchasing our first home. Our furnace broke during the snow in Feb. and they came out to fix it a few days later. After the technician performed $400 in repairs, he then thought it an opportune time to let us know it was on its last legs and a new furnace was in order rather than repairing it. Well as prediction would have it, our furnace broke a mere six days later, on March 3rd. When I called PH&AC to see about a partial refund it took me three times before reaching someone beyond the receptionist. They were always at appointments or out of the office but they would see that they would "personally hand the message off to Dave," the sales rep. After Dave and I finally connected he let me know it was beyond his "paygrade" to make such an assessment so I would be transferred to the owner, Craig or somesuch.

    A few days went by with no call from Craig. He was out of the office but the receptionist would "personally hand my message to him." When we eventually spoke I let him know I was a small business owner myself and I'd be happy to meet him halfway. I wasn't even looking for a refund, just something reasonable. When I suggested a credit towards a new furnace he responded that he didn't have the numbers in front of him and he would get back to me. It is now March 23rd and I have had two failed calls to Craig, who evidently is taking a sabbatical from the office and returning in neveruary. I do however always get a confident answer from the receptionist who promises "to personally hand him my message," although this has yet to be seen.

    In summary, if you are looking to be given the runaround by some very nice receptionists then this is THE place for you. These people make Comcast look like a cakewalk. But if you value your time and money I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for your heating and cooling needs.

    We had Erik H. give us a quote over a year ago, a long with several other vendors, this year we asked him back to review and update our quote. They are not the cheapest nor th he most expensive, he was upfront and honest about what was needed and about how long it would take to get done. Thank you for solving our heating and cooling problems and bringing us a great quiet option.

    The technician Isaac came when they said he would, was pleasant and did a great job. Everyone that I have worked with there has been helpful and gave great customer service. I’ll call again when I need service or maintenance.

    We had our furnace go out over the weekend during some 20 degree weather, so it was an on-call status for most heating repair places. I called another place first because they were the guys that last serviced my furnace, so their number was stuck to the side of my furnace. After 3 hours, the on-call guy never called me back. I called and left a voicemail with the on-call for Puyallup Heating & Air Conditioning and Jason called me back within 15 minutes. ...and the 30 second brief description I left was enough for him to diagnose the problem over the phone and call back with a detailed explanation of what was going on and why. He offered up the rough price to fix it (after hours pricing) and also what the difference would be if we waited until regular business hours.
    I was super impressed with his professionalism and transparency during the whole process. We will definitely be sticking to this company in the future!

He was very methodical in determining what was wrong with our heat pump, he talked in layman’s terms and gave me a great deal of confidence in his abilities and the overall professionalism of Puyallup Heating and Air.     After getting quotes from every place in Pierce co., not only did Puyallup give me the best price by $3,000, I have not paid them a penny the 3 times they had to come out and check on issues that arose from warranty issues. Say what you will though about the brand I bought, I am neither friends or family and I have only had the best customer service experience.

    My heat pump goes out during the hottest part of the summer! Called Puyallup Heating and they came out the next day, thank you Jamie! Rick came out and found the problem in two minutes. Blown capacitor. He had the parts on his truck. Fixed in 20 minutes. He also checked my sytem and the refrigerant when he was there. Efficient, convenient and, FRIENDLY!!!! Thank You
