Scott performed trouble-shooting on a lamp post that appears to have a short somewhere in the line or fixture. He showed me that the wiring in the lamp fixture was corroded and I agreed it needed to be replaced and the wiring cleaned up and weather-sealed. He did so and examined our existing electrical panel and provided estimates on various options. Very thorough and explained everything clearly. A great service experience.

Called a week ahead because the blower on our upstairs unit had died. Rep who scheduled the repair assured me the tech would be able to fix it that day or be able to get the parts. Tech came. I told him the blower was out. Tech came down and verified what I knew. He then went out to his truck and came back and stated part was on back order from Carrier and didn’t know when the part would come in. I told him that no thank you and he gladly took my card. Michael and Son’s would refund the “diagnostic fee” Called Art who replaced my air conditioner unit last summer is on his way right now to fix the blower. He stated that he can replace the motor. No issues

My 2nd floor thermostat went blank. Jules Kamden arrived from M&S to look into it. I was able to tell him the air handler in the attack had a sensor that blinked red. However it seemed every now and then the Thermostat reset. Jules quickly determined there was no clogged drain pipes. The sensor itself was the cause. He wired in a replace while measuring the Freon at the heat pump. He explained what he was doing and why. Problem fixed, and a great job by Jules!

I had 5 new HVAC systems installed in an apartment building I own in Richmond. Two of the systems ruined ceilings in the apartments when the condensation pumps failed within months after installation. Michaels told me to call my insurance company for repairs. I would not recommend this company. They do not stand behind their work. Their warranty is a joke.
