We’d like to acknowledge the professionalism of Jimmy Hesbach whom we had a chance encounter with at a supply store, upon a brief conversation we were convinced that he was the man for the job, that assumption has been proven we requested through Central York that he provide an estimate on needed repair to our HVAC system and the estimate was just as he predicted, he placed an order for parts and was conscientious enough to not accept a damaged box upon arrival for fear that the part would be damaged as well, called to inform us of the possible damage to the product and that a new schedule date would be arranged upon arrival of a new part. True to his word he arrived on time and worked diligently to make the necessary repair we are extremely pleased with his service to the point we canceled of service contract with another company and have secured the services of Central York. My husband has found a new best friend in Jimmy, and we are extremely pleased with his service. Thank You Jimmy!

Wonderful service. The technicians (Jimmy and Will) went above and beyond installing our new furnace and AC unit. They respected our living space and took great care moving equipment in and out of the house. They left no mess behind, took the time to answer all our questions, and made sure we were well educated on how the system operates. I would highly recommend using Central York.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with Central York! My job was a complicated AC system replacement in a 95-year old high-rise condo. Most companies – including the two largest local AC contractors – refused to even provide a proposal to do the job. Tracy showed up to evaluate my job and, from our first meeting, worked creatively to find a solution. Technicians Kevin and Warren were terrific and went above-and-beyond to complete the challenging install. My sincere thanks to an outstanding team for an excellent job from start to finish!

Have used them before for routine maintenance and repairs. Ductless mini-split upstairs stopped working. After a technician came out and charged over $400 (spent two hours on the phone) to tell me what was wrong, they didn’t even mention that it was still under manufacturer warranty, then promptly tried to charge me $1900 to fix it.

Called Woodfin to get a second opinion, 30 minutes later they were able to get the same diagnosis for $100 and informed me without me having to tell them that it was still under warranty and I should only pay for labor.

Very disappointed I paid $464 for nothing and a technician that took 4x as long to diagnose the same issue it took 30 minutes for another company. Also glad I was aware enough to know it was under manufacturer warranty but older people probably don’t know and would have been scammed. Sadly won’t be using them again.

Update to response: I did call and was quoted $1900, which did not include the items being under warranty. I then said I would think about it and called another company and was quoted just under $250 total. Why would I proceed with that amount when that was incorrect after getting a second opinion? I assume I was supposed to then call you all back again and say that?

I think the better approach when reading this would have been to reach out to me and I would have gladly written that in my review.

The best decision I made was choosing York. Tracy was the absolute BEST and provided immeasurably, superior customer service. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care from the installation, to the inspections, and even down to the financing portion of the job. I needed an entire unit replacement along with all new duct and the unit works like a charm. I am very pleased. Please let me note that Tracy is very detailed and patient. As I type this review, she is still working with me on some things. OVERALL, great choice!! A+++ Service

We have been satisfied customers of Central York for a number of years. Today, it's so very difficult to find a company you can trust, one who builds its reputation on being honest and not jeopardizing their integrity, is fairly priced, prompt and dependable, professional and knowledgeable, and keeps made promises always exceeding their customer's service expectations--that company is Central York. They kept our existing HVAC system going without attempting to upsale us or push to replace our system until it was necessary, they provided and installed our new system in one day, they offer an annual service contract which stands behind their product, and just this week replaced our hot water heater coming to our home within three hours after calling them and efficiently installing the new hot water heater the next morning later following-up that afternoon with a personal inspection ensuring a job well done. Everyone we have come into contact with over the years at Central York have provided nothing but the best possible service.

I can't say enough good things about dealing with Central York. They recently installed a couple of Mitsubishi mini-splits for me. Salesperson Tracey Edwards was exceptional. The pricing was excellent. Justin and the installation team were professional and thorough from start to finish.

I wish I could give more stars! My AC died, afterhours, during a very hot spell a couple weeks ago. After the initial call was placed, the Owner of the company (who was on vacation) called me within minutes. Knowing it was such a busy time for Hvac companies, I was pleasantly surprised when he said the service technician would be in touch ASAP. Sure enough, the technician called and was at my house in 15-20 min! I couldn’t believe I! In the past I had to wait 24+ hours for someone to come when I worked with other companies. These guys (and Ravina, their dispatcher) were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. At every step, they made sure I understood what they were doing and why they were doing it. 10/10 would hire them again.

I know how hard it is to find a trustworthy, competitively priced and professional company. Look no further, Central York is the company to use. Jimmy, Justin and Eric came in to do a HVAC install and they did an incredible job! I was worried about having work done in my house during Covid as well as having people walk on top of my new carpets. But from the moment they walked in wearing masks they made us feel at ease. Right away they put down drop cloths everywhere. I mean from the the bottom of my stairs up both flights and the landing. So everything was protected. They were extremely polite and took care of everything from the smallest detail the biggest one. Honestly do yourself a favor and give them a call!
