Virginia Climate

Virginia Climate was very responsive to our predicament - no heat during a cold spell. The owner responded quickly and the technician showed up when scheduled. Our technician, Paul C, was great. He had a nice way about him. Explained what he was doing and then tested things to make sure it all worked well. Great experience. Will gladly use. Virginia Climate again.

Terrible. They moved and cancelled appointments left and right. There was a younger man who was helpful and trying his best- very respectful and on time to his jobs. Although, we only had him 1 out of our -5- interactions. Older man was terrible at communicating constantly late and taking extremely long breaks. They broke one of our old thermostats and told us the system didn’t support that kind anymore (odd since it worked 2 years straight before) and installed an older one instead. They also tracked mud and stain out third floor carpet because the older man on 4!! Separate occasions refused to put shoe covers on or take his shoes off. Overall terrible experience and will never use again.

I love Virginia Climate and Tayler was so sweet to me when she had to tell me the furnace was on back order. She knew the coldest December weekend was approaching and she offered to bring space heaters to my house to keep me and my mother warm. So sweet! When the furnace did come and was installed my pipes were leaking so they recommended a plumber for me. They helped me with financing so the plumber could do his job and I could finish paying for the furnace. Once everything was operational they came to my home 2 more times because the furnace would not turn off and the house kept getting hotter and hotter. Once the problem was resolved the furnace is working fine. Thank you Pat for coming on the weekend to fix my furnace problem.
I would recommend Virginia Climate to anyone needing heating or cooling systems!

We had multiple visits and phone calls with Virginia Climate - They have always been super helpful and responsive. Taylor was great at helping get our appointments set up and scheduled with people who were prepared for whatever we were having done.

I interviewed nine companies when looking for a company to install a new HVAC system in my home. Tevin from the Virginia Climate team came out, went through my home and provided me with a quote. They were not the cheapest but my experience left me feeling good about using his team. The Virginia Climate installation team was great to work with. We installed a new Dual Fuel HVAC system. Once completed there were some punch list items to be cleaned up. They came out quickly and took care of our open items. In addition they found things that were not to their standards and they fixed those as well. I would use the Virginia Climate team again in a heart beat.

I have previously had this company service my two heat pumps, and then I purchased a service contract in January which was to cover a spring and fall check of both systems. I had them out a couple of weeks ago for the fall check, and when done the technician tried to charge me $199. I told him that I had a service contract, but he still insisted that I owed $199. I refused to pay, so he called the office to check. I heard the first part of the call through my security camera, and it convinced me that I should never deal with this company again. When he came back in after the call, he claimed that he didn’t know what a service contract covered. They he tried to scare me into over $600 in repairs, stating that both systems would fail by spring if I didn’t get these repairs done. I have now had two independent technicians recheck both heat pumps, and NONE of the parts identified as needing replacement had anything wrong with them. However, they did both identify a few seemingly minor issues that would be obvious to anyone who actually properly checked these systems, that if not corrected would at some point result in damage to not just both heat pumps, but to my house. I am furious that Virginia Climate evidently saw an older woman, widowed and disabled, and figured that they could take advantage, lie to her, and essentially try to steal from her. I will be reporting them to the BBB, and I obviously do not recommend this business.

Our experience with Virginia Climate has been great. Katie was able to get a technician out to our house the same day I called. We had an error message on our Nest thermostat that was misleading us. Craig thought he'd diagnosed the issue, but a few hours later we ran into the same problem. It's taken a few tries, but Craig has gone above and beyond to find the source of the issue and fix it. He was more than fair about what he ultimately charged us for, especially considering how much time and energy he put into it. I would definitely recommend Virginia Climate to anyone who needs any work done, and I will trust them with any of our future needs.

I can't thank everyone enough there at Virginia Climate on how great this experience has been working with your team. Customer service is a big thing with me and your team exceeded all of my expectations. IT was a pleasure doing business with you and I am happy to tell everyone about my wonderful experience working with this company.

This past winter, January 2017, the heat pump gave out at our home early in the morning on one of the coldest days of the year. There was snow everywhere. It was Saturday, and of course, any 24 hour service from most companies was going to be horrendous to get a hold of. Michael and Son had 45 callers ahead of me and dropped my call. I checked out Virginia Climate, admittedly, out of desperation. I received IMMEDIATE assistance both on the phone and in-person. They sent out a technician to analyze my situation. He was very thorough and very articulate about my options. I ordered a replacement unit, and although they do not normally work Sundays, the rep called his boys and they all agreed to replace the unit that same weekend. On Sunday, they rolled up and took care of the replacement within about 8 hours. It was truly a life-saver and their service was incredible. Virginia Climate has great service, great people, and great care for their customers!

I would totally recommend Va Climate to anyone! I got several quotes for different companies to replace my heating/AC and they quoted me a great price! Honest and explained my new system to me thoroughly. The tech's were awesome and very pleasant. The office staff Katie and Bunni answered all my questions right away. Ian one on the installers always had a smile on his face. I can't remember the other guy's name but, he was also very nice. Craig and George Awesome.

I'm not getting paid for my comnents lol this company is just that Awesome and, my experience with them will last a long time. I will definitely be recommending them!!!
