County Wide Service Co.

A/C done quit on me yesterday, called the first company, said first available appointment Saturday So i then was told about County wide service. Called them at 900am, tech was there by 1030a, fixed the ol kunuder valve watchamacallit thingy by 1130a.
Now thats some service!

My wife and I have been very pleased with the responsiveness and overall professional service provided by the technicians. My wife has been a 'fan' of Countywide after a service call at our old home at 9110 Welles Way in San Antonio over 20 years ago. This technician, Able is such a nice young man! Your company really does have 5 star quality service and PEOPLE ! Able came out last night and spent time tracking down the problem with out A/C system and explaining what was happening, and why. Great young man.!

I have used County Wides Services for several years now. Never have they disappointed. Reliably responsive and professional in every aspect. Tim is exceptional in his service to the customer.

I had three different HVAC companies out to find out why my a/c had stopped cooling. Louis from County Wide was the only one to figure it out. He went above and beyond and my house is now icy cold. The company is prompt and friendly with service. This is the only HVAC company I will use from here on out.

It was a pleasure to have Tim in my home today. Very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He arrived with a mask and booties on which was also nice. We used to use County Wide but stopped two years ago because of poor service. The repairman they sent back then spent 20 minutes looking at our unit and told us we needed a totally new one and then went into sales mode. Even though we told him we were not going to buy a new unit he spent more time trying to sell us one then he did finding the problem wit the one we had. When he left we called a different service who repaired our system in two hours and it worked perfectly since.

However, this time our unit went out Friday night, and we didn't know if our regular service worked on Saturday. County Wide is good for coming at all days and times so we gave it a try. This time the repairman correctly diagnosed a faulty fan but wanted $550 for a replacement with a 30-day warranty (longer warranties cost more). Our regular service called and said they could come out so we declined CW's offer. To their credit they only charged us for the service call. Meanwhile our regular service replaced the fan unit for $350 with a 3-year warranty.

County Wide is good about coming in an emergency (and in this heat that's a good thing) but you have to be prepared for sketchy diagnosis and high prices for replacement parts. This is why we stopped using them in the first place.

I have been using countywide air conditioning and heating for almost 40 years. My parents also use them. If they weren’t good we wouldn’t keep going back! They keep you informed, they are prompt, and they are very polite.

Company calls us before Technician arrives within appointment time window and Technician always provides careful, professional service that has prevented breakdowns or mishaps with our HVAC system for many years - no complaints EVER about this company. Would recommend to anyone!

Abel was professional, courtesy and thorough. He performed a thorough check on my AC that I have not seen done in the past. My finances are tight and Abel and Jonathan worked out a reasonable price so I could have the work done today. I'm so grateful and wish that all my future services are completed by Abel. I would highly recommend county Wide to anyone needing Air Conditioning Services.
