Wolcott Heating & Cooling

I was extremely pleased with the furnace tune-up maintenance that Wolcott Heating & Cooling performed on both my upstairs and downstairs furnaces. The technician communicated with me ahead of time to let me know when to expect him and he arrived right on time. He was very friendly and extremely professional and thorough in his maintenance work. I would highly recommend Wolcott Heating & Cooling for any HVAC-related maintenance work.

We had Wolcott come out since the electrostatic part of our built in air cleaner did not seem to be working. Ken explained that it would be more cost effective to add a UV catalytic scrubber instead of replacing the bad part of the current system. He explained good/bad and cost of both options very well. He then did a neat installation.
Ken also did a very thorough cleaning and checkout on our heat pump and HRV system. He was polite, knowledgeable, and answered my questions. Part of our system is inside the house. He was very careful to keep the inside of the house clean and wore a mask the whole time. I have Wolcott on my list all future work on our systems.

Update Nov 2022
Wolcott just completed an other PM on our system: prompt, courteous, clean. Answered my questions about how to tweak our system, and the best time of the year to do a PM on a heat pump system. We will use them again.

I wish I could give 6 stars. Hayden and Taylor were so kind and understanding. We missed our appointment due to our own work lives and not waking up on time, and they totally understood what we were going through and extended grace to us. Then, they installed our AC with care, respecting our property, and being informative about what they were doing. They were even trying to be quiet since they knew my husband was asleep! (He works nights). I’ve never had people show such care in my home before. They went above and beyond for us. Wolcott is lucky to have such hard workers and genuinely kind people. The electrician who came, Malachi, also did an excellent job.
They did an extraordinary job. We will be recommending Wolcott to everyone we know and will use them again in the future. I honestly cannot say enough good things. We are more than pleased and thankful for everything they did for us. It’s not often that I feel this way, this strongly about a service in our home!! Thank you, Wolcott, and thank you Corey Rife, Taylor, Hayden, and Malachi.

They have a system in place where you have to pay $97 for an estimate. My job was a simple toilet swap on a house with withodern plumbing. I asked them for some idea of cost but they couldn't provide a range at all. I told them I was concerned the estimate would be very high and would waste $97. Perhaps an hourly cost would be fair? They stopped responding at that point. My guess is they come out for $97, assess how desperate you are, then decide just how much you'll pay for their service at that moment. Electricians will do the same thing too. Come out for $100, tell you it will cost $500 to fix your problem, flip the breaker, then walk away with $600 check. Not how I do business.

100% So happy with them. They were recommended to me by a general contractor who was doing me a favor. I needed a good plumber to snake our drain/pipes and was wary of the companies who try to up-sell or force you to do estimates when you already know what you need.Thankfully, the contractor contacted Wolcott on my behalf and was able to schedule quickly. Grant, the plumbing technician, was knowledgeable and actually educated me along the way showing me everything he was doing and the issues he was seeing. I could go on and on. I'm just a happy customer and I'm sure you will be, too.

I would give a -10 if I could. We had techs out to remove and reinstall our toilets and sinks for a flooring project. First with the removal, the tech did not even have the right work order. Then on Friday when they were supposed to reinstall our toilets. They didn’t even show up or advise they were not coming. Then they told us they couldn’t come out until Monday. So here we sit with our toilets and sink on the patio the whole weekend after having them out there for 3 day during the installment of our floors. Also, they had to reinstall our toilets once before. The tech comes in with a little tube of caulking. His idea of caulking is globs in some spots and none is others. Very unprofessional

I had to wait a couple of days to get a person into my home. However, while I waited Wolcott arranged to have ServPro come and take the ceiling out so that the plumber, Brandon, when he was able to get here, was able to quickly locate the leak and figure out a solution the question: How do we stop it from leaking? Once he arrived he went right to work and worked straight through to get it right. Very creative, very personable, altogether what I would call a good man, and a skillful plumber. I am very grateful for the experience and will use them again.

Bryant was excellent, arrived on time with a heads up message when he was on the way. Once here he knew immediately what the issue was and fixed it super fast. He even provided a detailed note for us in case we needed to resolve the issue financially with previous homeowners. Highly recommend, will continue using Wolcott services!!

Called them to get a quote for a AC unit in our new home as they are the company who the builder had install the heating system!!! The rep Mike came out to give us a quote and at first he was friendly and all however he seemed to be in a rush and did not go over the details of the system and install or Evan a quote told me he would have to email the quote to me and was in and out in less the 30 minutes!!!! Four days later I had to call to find out when I would be getting the quote !!!!! They said that they had lots of quotes and would reach out to Mike to see if he could get me the quote!!! Once I received the quote it was not complete as I had discussed about insta hot feature on our tankless system!! Three days later I called again about the quote and then I received a call from Mike to ask what my issue was with the quote and I tried to explain what was missing and he became very rude and raised his voice on the phone to me I let him know if he continue I would disconnect the call which I ended up doing due his rudeness to me!!!! He then called me 9 times as I declined each call!!! I email them on how my there employee was very rude and let them know I would be reaching out to other companies for AC quotes!!!! Which I did !!! I would give them no stars if that was an option here!!!! Very poor customer service!!!’n

Aside from Wolcott postponing our appointment, everything went very smoothly. They communicated well, were professional, affordable, and trustworthy. Wolcott was the original installer of our system, and we will continue to use them for our HVAC needs. I would definitely recommend them.
