Very frustrating. Wolcott was hired by our property manager to install a new heating and cooling system in our townhouse. When we moved in the heating wasn't working properly. The downstairs never got above about 60 degrees. They sent a tech out who showed up without a ladder and said he had never seen a system like ours before. The system is installed in the attic space and the cooling loop system is installed in the garage. We loaned him a ladder and he did some adjusting. The distribution of the heat still wasn't great but was better. It's like nobody took the time to figure out how to balance the system when it was installed.

Then last week when things warmed up we turned on the brand new AC. It doesn't work at all. The temperature of the air coming out of the vents is the exact same temp as the room air. Brand new system, never been used and it doesn't work at all. It got up to over 80 degrees in the bedrooms. So we got in touch with them and they said sorry, it's be a week and half before we can get a tech out. Are you kidding me? The system is brand new and has never worked and we go to the end of the line???

called to this company for my water heater not working. So they sent me a technician, he is no knowledge on how to fix and without looking the water heater he said it costs over 500 dollars.
so i decided to not to take his service. called different company tech. He said your heater doesn’t need that part. mine is little new model.

After a day i got an email from this company, asking 97 dollars for technician to come to my house.

i called this company, they said they will talk to that person.

after 2 months got another email. if i don’t pay they are going to send to collections.

i don’t mind paying that money, but they never told me about this charge upfront when i schedule appointment.

totally fraud. i do not recommend this company for anyone.

I would personally advise to avoid this company at all cost. In the middle of freezing temperatures, we had our heat stop working in our HVAC system. It took this company three days to come out and look at the system and over three weeks to fix it. The service repair person was very helpful but the company itself takes no accountability for the lack of communication, and delay in services they were responsible for. When contacted asking for updates they didn’t return calls. Not only that, they don’t document the issues the service repair person found which is a very dubious business practice. Save your money and a future headache and go anywhere else!

There were a couple of miscues early on, but Mike, Johnna, Carlos, and Nick resolved every one of my questions & issues to my satisfaction (my favorite: "I do remember that you asked for when we wrote your quote 6 months ago. I'll take care of it"). 4.8 stars!

That no-fuss excellent customer service will keep Wolcott at the top of my list for my next HVAC (or plumbing) project.

Wolcott has many services under its umbrella including plumbing. We needed to install a washer and dryer in a location that has never had one previously. Mike showed up to provide an estimate and was determined to help us find the existing drain/pipe that we could connect to that was the correct size. He came back two days later to do a camera scoop and inspection our entire downstairs system. He pointed out where we had a cast iron connection, a “belly” in the line where water sits, and of course how the system is connected. It was very reassuring to know the potential pitfalls in our system and where problems could occur in the future.

We were delighted we found the right size pipe that was close by to where we wanted to put the washer. Mike clearly explained the process of how he was going to connect to it and was very helpful in answering all our questions.

He came back a week later to perform the work. We ran into a slight snag as the wall had a load bearing beam in the way once we opened up the wall. However Mike had a cleaver solution that ended up saving him time and us money. We really appreciate his care and thoughtfulness. Will call him in the future for any plumbing needs!

I called Wolcott for help with repairing the outside hose bib. Their technician, who was training someone, said he could fix it quickly. 2 hours later and a hole in side of the house, he gave me an estimate and that it would cost over $300 for him to repair on a different day. A few minutes after he left, I began to attempt to wash clothes. The water just trickled from the washing machine (I'm thinking great! now I have dirty wet clothes that could mildew). I immediately called Wolcott (at about 4pm) to ask the technician to come back and fix the water pressure. No answer. I called multiple times and each time I got an answering machine. I left a message and searched their website for help. They had an emergency 24 hour number that I called multiple times but got the same answering machine. No one called me back.

8am the next morning I called again and explained the problem. The customer rep said Brandon could not come until between 2 and 4 that evening. I asked if they could work us in sooner because we haven't been able to shower, water the lawn, wash clothes, or anything. She said she would try to move things around so we could get help.

At 4pm she calls and asks how am I doing?! I told her horrible. She didn't respond and said Brandon needed until 5pm to come back out. She said he thinks its a simple problem to fix. My child and I stayed home all day so we wouldn't miss him. Wasted day!

I started cooking dinner while waiting for him and discovered a big puddle of water under the sink! The outside bib and kitchen sink were connected. He caused a leak while trying to fix the bib!

This is the worst service I have had from a plumbing company. Instead of helping to make things better they made it worse. I have been busy dealing with severe medical treatment, which is stressful enough, and was hoping I found a good company I could count on for further business in the future. Very disappointing :(

Wolcott was super responsive and got me a technician the next day to check out the issue and determine that my exterior faucet had busted. Luckily I didn’t have an ongoing leak and could wait for the plumber to come the following week for the repair. Brandon T, came and fixed the faulty hose bib and placed it in an easier access point, instead of under my deck, and in no time at all. He was professional and efficient and I was so pleased with the beautiful, quality job that he did. I never knew an exterior faucet could make me so happy. He went above and beyond. Thank you Brandon and Wolcott for your care from start to finish!
