Grant at Walcott was outstanding. He helped me get the appropriate parts needed from the manufacturer of my hot water heater. He stayed in contact with us and made it his mission to get us up and running as fast as possible. I really appreciated his dedication.

Quick Service but Very Expensive
I have a water-based pipe heating system in the floor of my home. Wolcott is the only local service organization that services this system. They are also the company that installed the system in 2002 but under another name.

A one-hour service call was $289. The service call resolved the immediate issue and they showed up as promised. I confirmed the appt knowing the high cost for service but they are the only company that services my system. I have no other options.

In July 2020 the cost for a similar service call was $105.15. I understand that times have changed but I think the current charge was a bit much. Wolcott does not offer military discounts either as other service providers do for plumbing and HVAC.

Nice work, on time, professional ... but expensive IMO

Taylor was very friendly and professional, and completed installation quickly and when a piece of equipment was incorrect he walked me through how the company would handle it.

Anthony came to rescue my totally clogged tub and sink and had it done very quickly. He just could not have been nicer or more professional! Everyone at Wolcott Services was so helpful and kind. I'd definitely recommend them.

Matt was very pleasant and did a nice job of explaining what was the issues with our furnace. It would have been a 5 star review, but he forgot to remove the clip he used between the red/white wires to turn on the system with the door off. He left the clip on when he put the doors back on.

We left our home immediately after the repair only to return six hours later to a 78 degree home. Took about and hour trying to trouble shoot with my Nest thermostat with no luck. Imagine my surprise when I finally removed the door only to see the clip still on the red/white wires.

Ice storm 12-23-2022- Though the labor and material were adequate the time and material costs were obscenely excess and no itemized invoice was provided for a simple line repair without requesting one. We were in our home with no water in house but access to water from our duplex. the cause was a simple solder joint separation, no line break or crack. estimated time to repair 1hour, and minimal amount of material required to reconnect the joint. Even with a service call minimum the entire repair should not have been the excessive and over priced gouged amount we were charged. I wonder what is charged to persons who are truly in need of repairs. Wolcott can be assured there will be no referrals, or recommendations for their over priced work, but do recommend customers shop elsewhere.

They postponed several appointments to install, left us with a dented unit, and postponed the time to fix that. We paid them ad soon as invoice was received and they still sent us a warning regarding a line. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Be aware they charge $259.00 just to show up, which they don't tell you. We had a gas pack heater not working were told it needed a part and it was a potential electrical issue on the wiring to the unit. Never got a response regarding the part or it's status billed $421.00.
Got Michael_Alan Mechanical it was a bad igniter wire connection fixed it $189.00 and they were great...

Matt and Scott were prompt, polite, and thorough. We will definitely be using Wolcott again in the future. Thanks very much!

Had one of their drivers pull out in front of me and almost cause a crash. They then had the audacity to honk at me. Despite me having legal right of way. I wo t trust someone to do a job right that cant abide by even the simplest of driving laws.
