Honke Heating & Air Conditioning

I am writing this in the middle of the Pandemic, when I needed AC for both my home a rental property. Because both were around 25 years old, It was time to replace both furnace and AC. I asked around an got an enthusiastic referral to Honke from a neighbor, so they were the first company I called. Rick came onsite to both my properties (on the same day, back to back) whereas the other companies gave me virtual bids in which I had to fill out detailed forms, and submit pictures and measurements. Honke's bids were clearly the best value, only slightly more for high end Lennox HVAC systems than the two other companies who offered lesser brands which were also less efficient. Honke's installation was also a great experience. Both installations were challenging, but the lead installer, Barry, addressed all the issues with great solutions. The previous installation at my home was not done properly, so Barry reinstalled the intake and exhaust lines as well as rerouted the condensate drain line properly to my washing machine drain. He also found and fixed a serious but hidden issue with insulation blocking air flow inside the plenum. The back office at Honke has great service as well, thanks to Desiree. I really appreciate most rebates being filed for me, and that I have enough info on my receipt to claim the federal tax credits for 2020. There is some hot weather coming soon, and I'm grateful that we have much more efficient systems than before. Honke is an outstanding company employing many essential workers, and is taking good care of our homes during the pandemic, thank you so much!

My furnace went out a week ago. A company recently bought Honke Heating and when I called the 24 hour hotline, the woman who answered was very rude and let me know they no longer offered 24 hour emergency services. I called back another time to confirm warranty information since Honke is the company who installed the furnace and it not been a year. The person who answered was certainly more professional but I was informed that it was a part warranty only and not a labor warranty. I called Lennox and confirmed that a one year labor warranty is standard. Honke/ A&E is no longer offering 24 hour services and they are not honoring warranties. $550 later, you can be assured I will not use Honke again or recommend this business to anyone I know.

Great employees and serviced a/c, serviceman inspected, cleaned, tested and charged it now cooling ever since. Enjoyed his company and insights shared. Paid bill in office to a very courteous young woman and she shared history of Honke Heating that I was reading on the news clippings in the office.

It's not fun to be without a/c on hot August nights and Honke gets my continued business on doing the best for the customer. Thankyou !

Fast, efficient reasonably pricing. We got a whole new ductless heat pump installed. Very professional crew and informative of our options. Even service calls (for routine maintenance) had been very timely with availablity

We had a great experience with Honke! They gave us a great price and service on our heat pump. It saved us about $3500 in heating oil this year. They stand behind their work too!

They were great when they installed our heat pump and air handler. they were super fast and did a really good job cleaning up each day.

They were also great when we ran into an issue a few months later. they coordinated everything between then and an electrician to get everything back up and running. Can't recommend them more.

Honke heating is no more and is changed with A & E plumbing and heating. For an inspection costed 195.00 from 129.00. It is no longer a family business. The owner passed and I am truly sorry.

I had put off a repair of my furnace for a couple of years as it still ran and I was deathly afraid of the bill. My escrow account sent me some found money and my furnace was first on the list to get fixed. I checked rating of the company that installed my furnace 5 years ago and was not happy with what I read. I remember hearing a radio spot for Honke Heating and checked them out. Great reviews. I called their office and made an appointment. They sent out Matt. He hooked my pump up as it was unhooked and I did not need a replacement. He opened my filter system and showed me how to remove and clean the filters inside the unit. He loved up my boxer. And the price was so very reasonable -- A lot less than I ever though. Honke Heating has a life time customer and please keep Matt so very happy and employed. All your seniors love him!

Great Service, great price, great product.
Our furnace control board was dying. We had to tap on a control board relay it to make it fire up. After 24 years of working hard, it needed retirement. We called Honke Heating. The sales rep (Rick) was out the next day. I had done my research and knew what I wanted. Rick made it happen at a great price. Honke even took care of the rebates from Oregon Trust, so I didn't have to mess with them. A week after shaking hands, we had a new furnace installed and quietly heating the house. The installers did a great job, very friendly, very professional and a clean looking installation. A new furnace is not cheap but I got my money's worth.
