S&R Heating & Cooling

We had a 23 year old AC system that recently went out. Rob Langer came out to try to repair the AC but we decided to replace the AC and furnace (also 23 years old) instead of doing a repair. I must admit I was not excited to replace our heating/cooling system but I will admit today that I "LOVE" my system and have NO buyers remorse. We are very happy with the Bryant system that Rob recommended. We feel we were given a fair price and the installation of the equipment was first class. The owners Rob and Scott worked all day on site to make sure everything was perfect. Each worker on site was professional and respectful of my home. They made sure everything was cleaned up when the job was finished. Rob even stayed late to explain the new system and fill out rebate forms. I'm glad I made the decision to replace my system before WINTER. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to replace my system. Thank you S & R Appliance for the great service you provided. I would highly recommend all my friends and family that need repair/installation work.

S&R was recommended by our neighbors, and they were right!. From the first meeting, Scott was prompt, friendly and professional. He gave us 3 options for replacing our furnace and A/C, and did not push the most expensive. On installation day, the crew got right to work. They were so efficient! Got the whole system installed in one day! So far, neither the furnace or the A/C has kicked on - this is a good thing! Both heat and cooling have been done by the heat pump. We're happy not to be consuming natural gas at this point.

Scott, Alex and Jim just installed my new air conditioner. I can’t tell you how nice, professional and hard working they are! Exceptional service! Our furnace died unexpectedly and we were without heat for several days while we argued with our home warranty company over coverage. Rob met us in person at short notice and took the time to educate us on our options. More importantly, he helped us find a system that was optimal for our home and within our budget.

Rob and his team were prompt and efficient. The quality of the install is second to none—our furnace is a thing of beauty and works great. After the furnace install, Rob even took the time to hang a door to our basement—something that had been on my to-do lost for weeks (and probably would have so for several weeks more but for Rob’s thoughtful assistance).

You can really sense a feeling of pride that goes into S&R’s work. Rob’s customer service and attention to detail is a rarity. We feel very lucky to have found S&R—highly recommended!

We worked with Rob at S&R this February when our 25 year old outdoor packaged unit (AC& Heater) broke down during the butter cold.
Rob took a sincere approach on offering our options on repair vs replacement, and brought us over some portable and safe electric heaters. My wife and I weighed our options with the comprehensive information Rob gave us to dig into and help make our decision.
While nobody looks forward to plunking down a ton of cash on a brand new unit we also had multiple issues likely going to need to be fixed if we went on with a patch job on our old unit.
So we decided to go with a new unit and boy are we happy we did.
Rob was checking in with us from the first service call till after the unit had been installed.
The crews where out so fast as soon as we pulled the trigger, did a GREAT job, and left the place looking better after they were done then when they showed up.
They did a great job and you can tell why they stand behind their work.
Prices are very competitive, and they have top notch units to choose from.

Very professional, courteous, and prompt. Scott gave us several options when our heater went out. We are very happy with the work. We have also had S&R install appliances and replace an air exchange motor. Everything has been highly satisfactory.

I had been using a different HVAC company for 10+ years, but when it came time to replace my AC system they weren't listening to what I wanted anymore and didn't seem interested in my business. Scott and S&R listened to what I was asking for and even recommended a better solution, great experience.

Our new Bryant heat pump uses 30-50% less power for cooling than the last system, and is nearly silent compared to the old york unit it replaced. Soft start on the fan/compressor is amazing, no more hard starting 100db+ ca-chunk every time it starts up. If you're interested in reducing power consumption and burning less gas for heating, maybe even pairing with solar PV, really consider a heat pump.

We had a really good experience with this company. Our furnace was running loud, and there was obviously a problem. I called and they were able to fit us in that very same day. Nathan arrived and diagnosed the problem, a bad inducer motor.

They had a replacement on hand at their office. Once he returned he was able to quickly replace it- I don't even think it took him more than a half hour. The cost was a lot more than what we wanted to spend, but a same day major repair was still very impressive to me.

Nathan was very knowledgeable, and was happy to talk me through the whole process and clearly explain the situation without being pushy. He even gave me some pointers for maintenance and other good advice.
