I cannot say enough about this company. They respond immediately about concerns we have with our A/C and heat - both in our home and business. I always know that any emergency will be taken care of as soon as they can get there - and they update me continually on when they will arrive.
If you want the job done correctly, efficiently, and keeping cost in mind - Reibel is the company you should work with.
extremely unhelpful, disrespectful and have no customer service what do ever. Doesn’t address the customer concerns, speaks in unprofessional manner such as screaming and using degrading language. I have never experience someone hostile and unhinged with customer, that was the worst experience. I don’t recommend you wasting your money on there services, there are better small businesses in Minnesota that deserve it. This was an absolute shame and unbelievable experience.
Reibel guys did what 2 other companies could not do. They installed a 200 pound furnace in a 100 pound closet. The old one was sideways with no place to drain. The new one is actually accessible. Very shiny and quiet. The Reibels were very professional, impressive. THANK YOU...problem solved! Sincerely grateful, Kathy
Requested an estimate, and the tech showed up and stayed less than five minutes and wasted our time. Said they were a month out and walked out. Very rude, will not recommend to anyone.
Horrible company I would give a - rating if it was possible and let me tell y'all why !
On November 14 @ 1023 am I had a conversation with Brent Reibel, Owner/Manager about heating problems in our home located at 1940 Barclay Street St Paul Minnesota 55109 the reason for calling his company over another was because the homeowner used their services in installation of the units we are asking to be repaired the owner Brent then stated to me in the phone call that he didn't have anything available for that day November 14th but stated he could be to my residence by noon the next day November 15 and that he would call when on the way on November 15 we received no call no show From Brent at Reibel Heating and air conditioning Inc I contacted the homeowner and advised her that it was getting colder in the house as temperatures outdoors were at a cool 32 degrees for over a week now she reached out with no response back immediately mind you I have 3 children in the home On November 16 she was finally contacted by Brent and he stated that he had not been to our property yet as he was waiting for a call about me scheduling ( ok let's back up) we spoke Nov 14th and scheduled a appointment for service November 15 2022 at noon !! ) So I John Lyles called Brent Reibel and questioned him about the conversation he had with the homeowner and he became defensive and very aggressive and then slam hung up the phone then proceeded to call the owner and advise her that he didn't feel comfortable in coming over because he lied to begin with
Reibel Heating & Air Conditioning is exceptional in service and customer care and based on my experience with other companies – this is a rare and valuable quality. Reibel has earned my business! Straight forward and no upselling - "old school" type of business where the customer matters - You don't get that at many companies anymore! Keep up the great work! This company is AMAZING.
Amazing family owned business. Repaired a gas leak in my furnace room when the previous HVAC company installed the gas piping not up to code.
Brent and Terry are a great team!! They having been working together for so long, you would think they’re brothers. Not to mentioned Brent (aka Dad) is a pretty awesome guy. 🥰
The people were super friendly and definitely knowledgeable about the products. Our AC unit went out, they came out the same day to look at it. They had the unit we needed in stock and installed 2 days later. Awesome service, definitely went above and beyond any other company I've ever dealt with. Highly recommend!
That’s the response I received from a Reibel employee when I, an intermediate level do-it-yourselfer, approached them with a capacitor from my non-functioning (at the time, at least) air conditioning unit.
I was trying to get the part replaced before I headed in to work; a 10-minute repair.
Reibel did not stock that part.
I asked if I could be steered in the direction of a company who might have one on hand and the response I received is shown above.
I live in the neighborhood and try to shop locally if possible. My experience with small businesses here in White Bear Lake has always been a “neighbors helping neighbors” experience. This was certainly not in alignment with what I’ve seen in town.
I ended up going to Grainger in St. Paul and paid about $23 for the capacitor. Reibel undoubtedly would have marked it up 20% or so, which I understand, but the short-sightedness of their employee cost the company way more than the $7-10 they would have received for this transaction.
This company will neither be getting any of my business nor will I refer anyone to them after this experience.
I’m glad others have had a positive experience with them, and I’m sure mine was just an isolated one, but I still shake my head whenever I hear or see the company’s name.

My furnace stopped working and I called Reibel and spoke to Brent. After describing the problem, Brent asked if I was handy.
He instructed me what to do to fix the problem. I tried what he suggested, and it fixed the problem.
Hat's off to Brent Reibel and his Company. They have my business for future work. Thank You Brent!
