Total Comfort

Air conditioning wasn’t working. Called HomeServicePlus and they couldn’t come out for 2 days. I called Total Comfort on a whim since they installed my unit 2 years ago. It was a holiday weekend and they actually answered the phone and said they would be out the next day. Turns out it was a fuse outside that was bad. Riley was very thorough and went through everything that I could do as a homeowner to take care and maintain my HVAC system. He recommended some common sense programs and the exact filters I needed to buy. No guesswork for me. Very happy with the level of service Riley provided. He was super nice and thoughtful to my child who came home from school during his service visit. Also was great with our dog! Always a test of good character in my eyes. Great work.

Scheduling folks and the service engineer (Kyle) were well coordinated, on time, professional and thorough. Kyle quickly assessed the problem, fixed it, re-filled and tested the air conditioning, and then confirmed with me I had no additional questions or concerns. Just the way it should be, thank you!!

Dylan and John were amazing! They showed up exactly when they said they were going too and were extremely professional and helpful with each step! They were even kind to my dog Bolton who was of course curious about their work! If you’re looking for a great company and even better workers! Look no further than total comfort!

Well, I gave them one last chance....
I had my whole HVAC installed by them years ago, it was very spendy (lesson learned, always get another quote). I was really never happy with that experience since I felt I was "railroaded"/pressured into components I did not really need by the salesperson. Which some....like the whole house filtration system turned out to be absolute junk.

Jump to now, my air conditioning was acting up and I had out one of their service techs. After a few things were looked at he concluded that it was my thermostat and that it would cost $1,800. WHAT??? Looking online the parts he was replacing are only $400-$500...That is some mark-up/labor costs (note he said the job would probably only take him an hour to do, so not sure what the $1,300 markup is)!!
I called out another company for a second opinion and they said the issue was NOT my thermostat as far as they could tell and adjusted/fixed some wires on my air conditioner unit. Air has been working great since.
And once again, this company has confirmed my initial conclusions, 1) VERY EXPENSIVE, 2) does not actually address the real issue, just wants to push you into something so they can make more money.
I will never be back and I will tell all my friends/family to stay far away from this place.

I have used Total Comfort Heating and Cooling for years. They are always professional, on time and thorough! I had them check my system today. Nathan was so polite and thoroughly checked my heat pump system. He was able to pinpoint the problem and explained all my options. I am completely satisfied with the service and highly recommend Total Comfort.

Tony, Tad, and Adam were out today and installed a new Carrier Furnace and AC. Everything from start to finish was excellent service! I would highly recommend Total Comfort and will use them again! They were personable and did a great job explaining everything from start to finish!

I had a furnace and air conditioner replaced. The entire experience was good and quick from estimate to installation. The installers, Tony, Adam and Dylan were on time, friendly and courteous; they worked hard the entire time they were here and treated my home with respect.

James did a great job installing my new AC unit. His attention to detail, careful work, experience, and knowledge of the process was very evident. I appreciate how he was very responsive to my requests and special needs. He clearly exemplifies Total Comfort's commitment to extreme satisfaction. I would recommend him to anyone and will call again if I have any additional HVAC needs.

We were incredibly pleased with the job Ryan, Joe, and Adam did installing our new furnace and A/C. They worked nonstop to get it done. The cleanup was impressive. We would recommend them to anyone.

I had service recently for an AC unit check up and diagnostic as my unit is about ~20 years old and running. I had Frank come out and he did a fantastic job explaining and documenting the few issues he found so I could determine the best path to a resolution. I will gladly use total comfort again.
