Total Confort Mechanical is well organized company. The components are top quality, and the team is well prepared and very cordial. They installed an AC and heat pump system and a modern Ecobee thermostat which commands furnace, AC, heat pump and the humidifier. Everything works flawlessly. Highly recommended.

I just had an entire house worth of ductless mini splits installed by Wendell and his team at Total Comfort Mechanical. Wendell and his office staff were extremely responsive and communicative, very professional, and got me scheduled for the project quickly. They even helped me with the Mass Save rebate process. Their price was reasonable and Wendell's recommendation on how to configure the entire system for my house was the best and most straightforward among the all the contractors I got estimates from.

They started the project on the day they promised and finished it up by the end of the second day. The team that was at my house worked very hard, pulling an almost 12 hour day the first day. They were extremely clean and respectful of my house too. They came in, put on shoe covers, and covered all my floors and furniture with drop cloths and plastic sheeting. After they were done, they picked up all of their cloths and sheets, and did a thorough vacuum of my house leaving absolutely no trace they were there.

Two days after they finished they came back out to do a final walkthrough retest the system, show me how to maintain it, and ensure I had no concerns or questions left outstanding. I would highly recommend Wendell and his entire team at Total Comfort for any heating or cooling needs. They just simply awesome. I'm so satisfied with their work and I finally have a comfortable house!

We sought proposals to install a central heat pump system to provide heating and cooling, and to make our oil-fired furnace only serve as back-up heat. TCM’s proposal was by far the best — responsive to what we needed, economical, and thorough in addressing some of our quirky conditions. The installation happened quickly and smoothly. It was well coordinated even though there were 5 different people with roles on the job. The team was cordial, careful, and addressed our concerns all the way through the job. And the office team was great too with communication and paperwork. They know their way around the financing and rebates too. Highly recommend!

Serviceman was on time (a little GPS issue aside), was polite and friendly without wasting time. He looked over the thermostat and both parts of the split unit, hooked up his diagnostic machine, and kept me informed about what was going on and what his thoughts were. Eventually, he alleviated some of my concerns by showing my things that I thought were problems but were not. Then he found the cause of my problems which was an internal filter that I didn't know existed and had NEVER been replaced! He swapped it out and finished up. Has was great and the cost was very reasonable. Bring on the hot weather.

We have used Total Comfort Mechanical for both preventative maintenance, and to assess / repair our HVAC system. I thought they were very honest and thorough -- they could have recommended a much more expensive repair but they showed me how I could get the best value for my money. I truly appreciate that, and wish more companies would do the same. On top of that, everyone I met with was punctual, responsive, and they even took their shoes off at my house. Will definitely use them again!

Excellent maintenance service of older mini split system. Technician was knowledgeable, professional, and fixed the issue quickly. I previously worked with TCM on a system installation at my previous home and there was no reason to look for another HVAC company since then.

This is the second time we used Total Comfort Mechanical for installation of HVAC. We had them install AC for my mother a few years ago. We installed an energy efficient heat pump about a year ago and have enjoyed heat in the winter and cooling in the summer with the new system. We have found them to be timely and responsive and a good value after comparing to 2 other quotes.

Installed a heat pump. Estimates from other companies were all over the place - from $10,000 under theirs to $10,000 over. Theirs were in the middle cluster, i.e. the sweet spot (too low - didn't know what they were doing; too high - didn't want the business).
Wendell (who visited to spec out the system) was by far the most knowledgeable and thorough of any of them. My situation had a few funky quirks and he worked through them. Installation was clean, professional, on time and as we had agreed upon. Had a minor adjustment issue and a few questions a couple of weeks later. Their tech was smart, pleasant, had the answers.
I'd definitely recommend them and would use them again for another project.

Installed mini-split system and returning for preventive maintenance. Very good experience dealing with the company. Worth every ounce of service provided. Customer service is outstanding. Definitely a return customer!
