From start to finish my experience was outstanding. The online appointment was easy to follow, I received a phone call to offer an earlier time due to a cancellation, then the tech texted & called when he was in route. Robert is honest skilled & efficient, demonstrated by telling me that a service I had asked about was not needed & explaining why. The cost was fair & less than I expected. I have already referred one of our friends, and will happily refer more.

RIPOFF COMPANY - Coolray came to my house to diagnose a central AC not working. The technician told me it was the control panel and would cost $1800 to replace. Also, the part was back ordered, he didn't know when it would be available and he could have someone come out to quote me for a new furnace...Very Convenient!

I went online, found the factory part for $550 and had it delivered to my house within 36 hours. Imagine that, a multi-million dollar company who does this every day of the week didn't have the part but I could get it online within a day and a half. I then watched a youtube video (I have no HVAC experience) and installed the part in 20 minutes. Turns out after I installed the part, the Coolray tech diagnosed the problem wrong and the control panel was functioning just fine. It was actually the blower motor.

I called the company back to have them explain to me how something which was done in 20 minutes could cost $1,250 in labor? The gentleman on the phone attempted to talk in circles and could not give me an answer. I expressed to him had I been an elderly customer they would have gladly exploited me out of the $1,800.

This is some swindling on a whole new level - steer clear!

The service tech arrived at the beginning of my window. Coolray communicated clearly via text and email and the tech called ahead which is expected. My situation was unique and I appreciate that the service tech was willing to give an estimate. I will stop here and say I cannot recommend Coolray based on the quote we received. I do not wish to leave a rant that reflects my frustration and in no way reflects the service they provided. My interaction was brief and and would have resulted in what I believe is great service. However, they priced me out of this repair, and consequently any new system installation.

Shawn is an excellent technician and knows his way around various brands of HVAC systems. He was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem and able to keep the old system (18 years old) limping along until they were able to come out the next day and install a new HVAC system. The system was a little more expensive than I liked, but I went with the top of the line system to provide the best efficiency for my home. He was up front in telling me not to expect any of the new systems available to last as long as my old system did. When the installation group pulled out the coil the next day, we confirmed Shawn's diagnosis was correct and that the system was probably past due for replacement. Shawn did not try to oversell any product and gave a concise summary of each available product for me to make a decision to choose from. He told me what to expect from the new system and so far has been 100% correct again. I would not have any problems with Shawn coming out to my house for maintenance in the future.

Robert was excellent. Showed up on time, explained everything in detail and made us feel very comfortable with the decision to replace our old unit. We had 2 great technicians later the same day that replaced our outside unit and coil. Very professional, clean up and explained everything. We couldn't ask for a better experience.

Our air conditioner went out on a Thursday night before a Holiday weekend, on one of the hottest days we have had. I called Coolray at 7:30 on Friday morning and they had someone hear by 8:45 to fix the problem. They were great and we had a much cooler house by 10:00 in the morning. Thanks Coolray!

I was having heating issues where it wouldn’t function at all downstairs, only upstairs when the heat was turned on in both locations and vise versa. A different company diagnosed it with a leak and had to be replaced. Then they estimated it’d be $22,000. I called 6 other companies to give me an estimate and CoolRay was the most reasonable and affordable out of all of them. They came to have a look on Friday and told me that they wouldn’t be able to come do the service until Monday because they wouldn’t have the materials needed until then. I was concerned because the very next day (Saturday) was expected to be the coldest day/night of the month so far and I really didn’t want to be without heat. I voiced this concern with them over the phone and Mike went above and beyond, doing everything in his power to get those materials earlier because he too didn’t want us to be cold over the freezing weekend. He managed to get everything needed and by 8:30am Saturday, the team was at my house and finished the service completely by 2pm. I was blown away by the care, consideration, timeliness, and job well done.

The tech actually showed up early. He was professional and kept me posted on how the repair was going. A senior tech was called in to troubleshoot. I was so worried about what the final bill would be. My HVAC was repaired and I added a service contract for unit. I thought I may have to give up summer vacation to pay bill, but I was shocked. It was reasonable and very affordable. This company and technicians are great! So I have super cold A/C and my summer vacation is still on!
