Casteel Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical

Our A/C went out recently and I called around to see who could come out the quickest as we have company coming into town. Casteel was the first to say they can have someone out the same day! The service tech Sam was beyond amazing, and very knowledgeable. We unfortunately need a new system because ours is discontinued so we will be meeting today to get a quote. This company is extremely fast with their service and that is what I love the most. When you want something done it gets taken care of right away! I’m looking forward to working with this amazing company to get us back in service. 10/10 recommend! I will come back for the sales rep and install review!

Until this week, I had only used Casteel for routine seasonal HVAC service upkeep. Always prompt, professional, and fairly priced. However, during a recent summer service call it was determined that our main 2ton unit needed to be replaced. A Casteel rep (Matt H.) was able to visit with me within 24hrs of the initial service call. Matt did an excellent job explaining our options and costs associated to either replace the cooling portion of the unit or the entire system without any sales pressure. Fully transparent and accounted for the fact we’re moving in
The installation team arrived promptly at our home the following morning. Zach, Charles, and “G” were extremely courteous and respectful while here, took the time to explain the planned installation, as well as kept me apprised of their status and any holdups as they occurred. Very diligent with the installation, working nearly non-stop after arriving for nearly seven hours, minus an abbreviated lunch break. Though younger relative to the other service techs we’ve had, they were very competent and trained for this installation. Zach thoroughly explained the system and the work accomplished during the post-installation ‘walk-through”. All together, this was an unexpected expense that the Casteel team made very bearable with their transparency and professionalism. Thank you!!

I called around to a few other companies before I connected with Casteel online. All the other companies couldn't get me an appointment until 5-7 days from when I called. Casteel was able to get me a same day appointment. The service tech Elliot was amazing. He diagnosed my issue quickly and provided pricing that was lower than anticipated. While my part was on backorder, it only took 2 business days for it to come in and the next day Elliot was back at my home dong the repair. During this time of the year being able to get a same day service call is amazing. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

If you value safety, comfort and durability, do not use these people. Please go to literally anyone but these people.

In my house I've had three things installed/repaired and every single thing has been done like absolute hot garbage.

First photo is a gas leak they supposedly fixed.

Second photo is huge backflow coming from the gas water heater vent and causing the anode caps to melt.

Photos 3-6 are their idea of how to do duct work and a duct box on a central AC. Giant gaping holes all over the duct system. No starter collars. Nothing.

The best part is that they won't stand by their work. These guys are pure amateurs. Then they say someone from the management team will reach out to you in 48 hours...still waiting for that a week later.

Rory, Tom, Evan, Todd was really good at explaining the problem and how to resolve. He was very professional and I was impressed with overall service from what I have received from other providers in the past. I really appreciate company for sending a team to my home ASAP and getting back cool with this Atlanta heat I needed my air working and they did the job. Awesome!!! Thanks Rory. I will see you in the winter for maintenance.

I had a great experience using Casteel from the system designer all the way to the actual install day. The technicians were on time and time efficient. They were respectful of my home, family, and animals. They talked me through all the details in a respectful and intentional way. Obviously they know much more than me but they approached it like we were learning together. They finished ahead of schedule and were thorough on making sure everything was working correctly.

My air went out and I have had Casteel in this house since I moved here and they installed the system that is in the house. Samuel Dodd came out quickly and looked at my system - sadly for my wallet it has to be fully replaced but he was very knowledgeable and professional!! He explained everything in detail on the service I needed and got me set up with the system sales people immediately. Great service! Been a 20 year customer and will continue...

I got a message on my thermostat that something was seriously wrong and needed immediate attention. Called Casteel. They offered to come out immediately but that wasn't convenient so I scheduled for the next day. Jason Avaloy arrived on time, was very considerate, polite and respectful. Explained what he was doing and why. He even helped me to set up a feature on my thermostat that I hadn't been able to do myself. If you need service, call Casteel and ask for Jason by name. You won't regret it.

Was one of the only service providers that could come out the next day. They did, were on time, notified me to confirm & that they were in route. Were fast, gave options for repair & very communicative. Highly recommend. Larry Williams was our technician & he was outstanding.

Hired to just take a look at system in new home and change air filter! Shane was great. They were able to come out days earlier than original appointment which was super convenient. He answered all of my questions. Took his time explaining things to me. Would definitely call this company again and would definitely recommend Shane. It’s rare to find people to do work well in your house. I’m confident his suggestions and work will give me peace of mind! He went above and beyond!
