Samuel came to check my A/C that was not blowing any cool air. Despite the hot temperature outside, he worked very hard outside on the unit to determine the problem. I appreciate the time he took to show me the root of the problem and explained why it was malfunctioning in a manner that I could understand. He is very knowledgeable about his profession and cares about his customers.

I feel like i have just been robbed but without a gun to my head. I was quoted. $500.00 for this part and didn't have that kind of money, then he came back and said $300.00. The same part is $12 bucks on amazon Casteel you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

My landlord sent them to fix my plumbing, which it wasn't complete. Ethan left the top off of the main pipe and everything is going into my yard and it smells terriblešŸ¤¢. Ethan lied and told me that he was waiting on my landlord to give him the okay to go ahead and get the job done, which is a lie because my landlord told him to complete the job, he left without communicating with me, he told my landlord that he would have to come back out, which was a lie, they call my landlord saying that they are closing out the ticket because the job is complete, which is a lie. I have pictures of how he left the job unfinished.... waste is going into my yard at this point and the smell is unbearablešŸ¤¢.... I am very disappointed in the service Casteel employee provided on 2/14/23.... I hope to get this issue resolve asap and send someone else out to finish the jobšŸ˜”šŸ˜”šŸ˜”

UPDATE: (September 1, 2022) I must have a red flag on my name since I didnā€™t hire this company to install my second unit. They clearly havenā€™t performed like they did years ago. Since the last post, Casteel sent a technician out to resolve my HVAC problem on my first unit soon after I posted. He installed a new condenser that cost almost $800. Two months later, I happened to peek into the closet that houses the condenser (a closet I rarely went into) and discovered a pan that was overflowing with condenser water and water damage to include mold. The HVAC unit never shut off like it did before. When I called Casteel to complain, the dispatcher told me to ā€œstop sucking all of the oxygen from the room.ā€ When the technician arrived two days later at 8:00 pm, he indicated that he resolved the issue TEMPORARILY and he assured me that someone would call me the next day to schedule a restoration company to come and resolve the water damage and to schedule him to return and replace the pan, condenser, line, etc. so that the problem would not repeat itself. I waited two days for a call and no one called. When I called to inquire about the next steps, the dispatcher stated that she thought the problem was resolved and that she would send someone out to diagnose the problem. The next technician came out and saw no water and stated that he didnā€™t see a problem. When I asked if he had received notes, he stated that he saw lots of notes. When I told him that the technician gave a temporary fix and that the mold was everywhere and that I was promised restoration and a permanent resolution, he looked at me as if he still didnā€™t see a problem.

June of 2022

I contracted Casteel to come out and repair my hvac. I waited all week and day for someone to come. I received a text at 5:59 that a tech Elliot Finch was on his way and to click to see when he would arrive. When I clicked the link, at first it stated that he was on his way. When I clicked again seconds later, it stated that he had arrived. I didnā€™t see anyone outside my home (I was looking at my house cameras the entire time) nor did anyone ring my doorbell. Clearly, the Finch person had somewhere else to be and decided to decline service, which inconvenienced me tremendously as I was waiting ALL DAY for him to arrive.

Air was completely down. Unit is only 2 years old. The soonest appointment was 8 days out. HORRIBLE SERVICE! UNBELIEVABLE! I couldn't even pay for expedited service? I asked to speak to a manager and no one ever called (TERRIBLE BUSINESS). I called another company and my issue was resolved in less than 12 hours.

I will not ever do business with this company (Casteel) again and I suggest you don't either.

From beginning to end David, Jake, and team worked together to get the job done and keep me in the loop during the process. I am now a loyal customer and look forward to using Casteel again for my household needs.

I hired Casteel HVAC because my AC unit was leaking. I figured it had to be something minor since the property that I bought was only 2 years old newly built with the new furnace and air conditioner unit new as well. The technician came out to Assessed the problem he arrived on time however he spent about a hour in a half diagnosing the problem with the AC unit. When he was finished gave me a assessment of over $4,000 on a unit the was only 2 years. On top of all that the unit is barely use because I hate being extremely cold. After he left my husband and I looked in the area were the AC unit is housed and we noticed he left several water bottles on the floor. He did not close the attic with the wood square the close to keep the heat out. Iā€™m new to Georgia Iā€™ve been live here for only two years after I purchased my house here . I must say Iā€™m very disappointed in this type of service. I got a second opinion for a company that does the same exact service that Casteel does and they were able to assess the issue in 45 minutes the technician fixed the problem for only $125 dollars. The technician walked me over to the unit and showed me the one of the lines to the AC unit was clogged. The tech also told me what to look for if the ever happened again. He informed me that the parts on my Lennox unit was still in excellent condition and he also said he can tell I change my filters often.
