Samuel came out to help us with a stressful situation where an HVAC issue was causing a leak in our guest room ceiling. From the time he walked in, till the moment he left, Samuel made us feel like valued customers. He took our concerns seriously, answered our questions patiently and exuded the confidence that comes from being a pro and a customer advocate. We felt like we were in great hands thanks to him. No one wants to deal with an HVAC failure, but if you have to, you want someone just like Samuel to walk you through it.

Don't let the Jesus fish fool you into thinking that this is an ethical company that will do the right thing. That was not my experience with their plumbing service, and their plumber Jose Cano.

I asked for someone to come replace my hot water heater, and they said that they would. I asked and verified 2 different times that they would bring one with them to install. I did not need an assessment or repair - I needed a replacement.

Jose showed up, did not read his tech notes (as dispatch promised he would), did not have a hot water heater, and would not go get one. I offered to go to Home Depot and get one, but he said he couldn't install one from there. I asked why he was even there then, and he insisted on taking a look. He looked and tried to mansplain plumbing to me, despite me telling him that I knew everything he was saying and that I'd done lots of plumbing work in the past. In fact, I would have done it myself but was sick and busy. Jose kept talking despite me asking him multiple times why he was there and when they could install a hot water heater.

When finally I told him to just leave and that I'd get someone else, he tried to charge me $90 for his visit where he did nothing but annoy me. I refused and told him again that he did nothing and should have read his tech notes before the visit and brought a hot water heater. He even showed me in the notes where it said that he needed to bring a hot water heater.

Finally he said that I would not have to pay and that he'd cancel the appointment instead of closing it. I asked if I needed to call someone, and he said no, that I wouldn't get a bill.

Well guess what I received via email as soon as he left my driveway...a bill for $90. Jose Cano lied to my face after doing nothing to help or even educate me. There's no other way to put it.

They need to take that fish off their logo asap.

5/30 UPDATE: A manager reached out after seeing this review and removed the $90 charge.

Last night, we had an upstairs A/C unit stop working and water started leaking through walls into a downstairs hallway. Castell came first thing this morning. Samuel Dodd was our technician and he was so thorough and helpful and very knowledgeable. He clearly showed where concerns on the unit were, elaborated on the how’s and why’s and pointed out specific locations so that I could take photos. I am very thankful they got us scheduled so quickly and very appreciative of Samuel’s time and knowledge!
