During the service call, Mike the technician found another problem with the unit and fix it. J&L is trustworthy and fair with parts replacements. Mike was professional. I couldn't be happier with our decision to go have J&L install our new Air Conditioner/Heat Pump system. We just moved into a 20-year-old home and knew the original AC unit needed to be replaced. Lisa, who answered the phone when I called, was very nice and helpful. She worked with my schedule and got things all set up. A J&L technician, not a sales person, came to our home to assess our situation and make a recommendation. I was impressed with his knowledge, professionalism and I liked that he had me stay with him during his assessment, unlike some other estimates I received where I was told they would look at everything and let me know. I was most impressed that the technician recognized that the unit that had been in this home was too large, which explains why it was cycling on and off in just 3-4 minutes. On the day of install, technicians Shawn and Nick were also very knowledgeable and professional. I appreciate them showing me everything they did once the install was complete. The icing on the cake was the follow-up phone call a week later to see how the unit was working. Thanks J&L for your great service.

AC wasn't working. Tech came out and figured out it was the capacitor. He was knowledgable. Changed it in about 5 minutes. I googled the price of the capacitor afterwards and realized it was a maximum of $20 and i got charged $150. That didn't include all the other fees (diagnostic, service call, parts!...there are no extra parts) which brought my total to $350. I understand the company needs to make money but I felt a bit ripped off. I can only imagine what the price would be if there was a major issue.

Mike was very knowledgeable of the AC unit we have. He explained each step as he was going over the unit.

Lisa was courteous and helpful with trouble shooting over the phone. Mike was excellent! He diagnosed the problem, installed a surge protector in addition, and offered tips for future maintenance. Very pleased and highly recommend
