Tech with 9 years experience wouldn’t proceed with coil replacement that he said was needed until he got a 2nd opinion and showed me a picture of bad coil. He confirmed it was a bad coil. I called the company and the clerk who answered phone said all mgrs. were gone for holiday but someone will call me back. I certainly hope air america doesn’t jam me up with no cold air in July until after holiday weekend if they do that will be a very bad look for them unless they just don’t care.

KOSHA our technician was polite and professional, and I would highly recommend. I’d also like to add how good the emergency service team was with finding me a technician. I was asked by their customer service manager, Kat, to write an email detailing all of my interactions with their plumbing department because she was missing information. That’s when I decided it was best to write an honest review about my experience with this company filling in the blanks of information their plumbing department couldn’t provide. I called them after hearing a sound from what I thought was the water heater. Their technician came out and said 100% that’s the sound I was hearing and needed a new one. We began the order but the sound didn’t go away. It was called “normal”. The next day I called and spoke to the plumbing department manager. She too advised that it was normal and I should try turning on all of the hot water faucets to empty the tank…then the leak began. Another thing that was called “normal.” After troubleshooting calls back and forth, on the 5th day I requested a technician to come out to re-evaluate. He found the sound was actually a leak in the wall. We proceeded with the fix but let’s not forget 5 days have passed with running water due to their technicians error. It’s been over a month since they were here and they have yet to take any accountability. I’ve had to start with a different plumbing company, homeowners insurance, try to negotiate and lower my $900 water bill, oh and they claimed the restoration company was already here prior to them arriving (Lie!). After speaking with their customer service manager multiple times, this company feels they did nothing wrong and I am not due any compensation for their error. It’s been weeks of her trying to track down this person and wait for that one to get out of a meeting. Save yourself the inevitable headache and do not go with this company.

Plumber review water heater tank two bathrooms, washer and dryer, kitchen sink and refrigerator for any leaks. He explained the process and recommended some changes. The plumber was not pushy just matter of facts. I appreciate his manners and professionalism.

We’ve been their customer for roughly 12 years. Our unit was not cooling efficiently so we called them out to take a look, before the technician even took a look he suggested we just get another unit. He eventually “checked” it out and stated that the TXV was bad and needed to be replaced. He didn’t check the freon level or add any, He told us it wasn’t under warranty (it still was), but corrected himself once we insisted. We made a partial deposit for the part and were informed that they did not have it in stock but they would place the order and schedule a technician as soon as it came in – they estimated it would only take a couple days. This all took place on a Friday and were told the following Wednesday it would be there. Its currently ridiculously hot in Florida but we waited patiently and called them on the Wednesday to check on the status and were informed it did not come in on the truck but to call the following day, this continued for 9 days, We continued to call and received the same response – inquired about tracking the location of the part and they stated that was not something they were “capable” of doing and better luck tomorrow, this continued for a week. We stuck it out with Air America and still called them the day we finally reached out to another company that came out and fixed it immediately, They came out right away and stated we had a leak and fixed it, the TSV was not bad and charged us for the repair and we had ice cold air in our vents as soon as the appointment was over. This was 9 days after Air American claimed they ordered the part, called Air America and cancelled everything and they said it would be 7-10 business days for the refund – fair enough. Recently received two texts that a technician was headed our way so proceeded to call them and find out what that was all about. I was informed that it was just an automated message sent out in error, informed them that our unit was working and that it was a leak. The person on the other end stated “that’s why it’s always good to get a second opinion” and “that’s why they held on to the part because they suspected there was a leak”. At no point in time did anyone from Air America suggest that that could be the issue or we would have fixed the leak or purchased a brand new unit. If they had suspected that from the get go I cannot comprehend as to why they withheld that information and what was implied from the conversation the part – my imagination is running wild. Please proceed with caution, this doesn’t seem right.
