    Furnace went out on December 18 when the temp was to drop to the single digits. Called. Bethke and the answering service had a tech call me back in 30 mins. Had me turn the system off to reset. It worked but then failed again in a few hours. Called Bethke back and they dispatched JOHN. John showed up within 90 mins, replaced a part and the furnace is working!! John was GREAT! Would definitely recommend Bethke.

    Furnace gave up on a Saturday night. John was out one hour after I called for help. He ordered a heat exchanger that night. One part wasn't being shipped after several days, and there was no ETA given by the source. A short term fix was then discussed and dismissed. New furnace to the rescue! Details described as I was on my way out the door to go to the hospital to have surgery. Joe and Mark had it installed in our absence the next day. We returned later that day to the comfort of a warm home.

    Woke up to a very cold house, but I wasn't worried. I have had a service plan with Bethke for several years. Less than 20 minutes after I left a message with the answering service, John was at my house. He remembered me from an earlier visit, when he replaced a faulty Nest thermostat, and promptly diagnosed the issue. John is always friendly and professional, as are all of the other Bethke employees I've interacted with. THANK YOU!

    TLDR: Great prices, super knowledgeable, clean, professional, and excellent communication with real local people. We got quotes from multiple servicers for our HVAC install and the others did not impress when compared to Bethke (both on price and on overall experience).

    The long story:
    We just installed an entirely new HVAC system with Bethke, and are very very happy! From the initial walk around and quote, to the HVAC install itself, Bethke has been excellent at communicating our options, offering educated suggestions and performing the work on time with a high degree of professionalism. They left the work area spotless, and had our new system up and running in less than 8 hours.

    We did have a minor hiccup with the installation, where the AC installer forgot to update some furnace settings from their factory settings, so our cooling was underperforming (we noticed the temperature creeping up the day after install). That being said, we notified Bethke's after hours line, mentioned that it was not an emergency, and they had a tech over to our house by 8 am the next day. The tech's have always been incredibly knowledgeable, and we want to give a big thanks to our local serviceman Mike, who was able our HVAC system configured in under an hour.

    We have used them in the past for emergency servicing on our old furnace in the dead of winter, and on our old AC in the height of summer, and they are always super responsive and get us up and running within a day or two.

    Now we're cool and crisp, even in a heat index of 110, and couldn't ask for more! Bethke is definitely our first and only stop for our HVAC system!

    I’ve used Bethke for service on my furnace and AC for about 10 years and had them install a new Armstrong furnace and AC for me 8 years ago. Good experience with their office and HVAC techs for service and installation. Quick to pick up the phone and quick to come out for after hours service when you have a problem.

    We have always used Bethke for our home heating and air and been very happy with their services every time. When there was an issue with the thermostat unit they came and replaced it at no charge. Then when we needed a heating unit installed in our new Cleary building, Bethke was responsive and informative in helping us decide which option would work best for the space. We ended up going with a ductless system. Always great communication from Bethke, which we really appreciate. Thanks guys!

    I saw another reviewer had the same problem with scheduling. I called to have an estimator come out and price out a new furnace and AC, I was a bit annoyed that it would take a week and a half for someone to come out, competitors were able to come out within a few days. On the day of the appointment I didn't get a text or phone confirmation that someone was coming out so I called Bethke to confirm someone would be here. Well, they said they had no record of me calling and it would take another week to get someone out. Nope, if you can't even enter an appointment in your scheduling software I'm not going to trust you with a new HVAC system.
    -- In response, yes you have the right person. When I called, I don't remember the exact date but it was around Sept 26-28 for an appointment 10/7 at 12:00. The only reason I called Bethke is that my parents have used Bethke for years without any problems, but this is the third time I've called them over the past 10 and haven't been impressed. Once was for servicing a small HVAC system in my commercial space, the other if I remember correctly, was to get a quote on a AprilAire humidifier for my home. For the commercial space they didn't seem interested in the job, and the AprilAire system they weren't competitive in the quote. Three chances are plenty of opportunities to get your foot in the door and earn my business.

    We had routine maintenance done on our HVAC system this morning. The technician, Camden, completed the job efficiently. He also took time to go over the condition of our furnace and AC and answer a couple of questions. He clearly enjoys his work. For someone just starting in his career, he already is a great representative for Bethke's services.

    We have been Bethke customers for 18 years. The technicians provide courteous, professional, knowledgeable service and have told us that the company treats them well, which speaks a lot for Bethke's management style. Recently we needed to replace our a/c. We received a quote and the technicians were out the next morning to do the install which was a pleasant surprise since we'd been told it might be a six-week wait. Maybe we just got lucky but I'd like to think that Bethke looks after loyal customers! We recommend the Energy Savings Agreement which covers annual check-ups of the a/c and heating units to ensure they are functioning properly and safely. Thanks, Bethke!

    Bethke installed a great AC unit for us. Their bid came in below others and they took care of more for us. All was done at such a high level and communication was great all the way through. They were a pleasure to work with.
