Our home warranty sent Willie out on Christmas Day to fix our furnace. He was prompt, professional, fixed not only the issue but had suggestions to make the system more efficient (which did, it runs less often now and heats better).
He also fixed the issue faster than the previous company took to 'mask' and 'band-aid' the issue.
Very pleased. We have already referred Willie to neighbors. It's great to have a company we can trust!

Willie installed a whole home humidifier for us and was kind enough to point out some issues with our newly installed HVACR system from a bug company in town that didn’t have much attention to detail to help us save on some costs. Willie is wonderful, very prompt, does great work, goes over everything, is efficient and did everything at the best price I could find in town. Very kind gentleman and even checked in a few days later to make sure everything was working to our liking. 5/5 stars!!!

My experience with Gold Star so far has featured individualized service tailored to my needs and the specific characteristics of my house. Gold Star assumes a whole-house approach and is not narrowly focused on selling particular products or services, which I appreciate. I also appreciate Gold Star's responsiveness on short notice. Finally, Gold Star puts in the time necessary to make sure systems are working and appliances are properly installed and maintained, yet bills remain low relative to the larger, more industrial HVAC firms.

Willie (Gold Star HVACR owner) is a very knowledgeable HVAC professional. We had a central AC installed in the early summer that didn’t work to full capacity and we asked a lot of other HVAC professionals about potential options to fix it...without any luck. Willie provided a different perspective about the evaporator coil, valve, and refrigerant adjustments to improve our system. We trusted his judgement throughout the process and his fixes worked—we were amazed with the final results! His understanding of HVAC is invaluable and in this industry with a lot of competition, it was great to work with him. I highly recommend Gold Star and Willie for any complex HVAC service needs in Madison and the surrounding area…we will definitely stay in touch.

Willie went above and beyond what some other businesses would do. He didn't just install a new AC unit; he made little fixes along the way that would improve the efficiency of my whole system. It's that type of attention to detail that you want from someone doing a major job on your home. I found myself spending a bit more time around the job as he offered explanations and shared knowledge as he worked. I'm already planning my next project with him to install a humidifier before winter.

Called Gold Star HVACR to repair my AC. They were able to come out same day during the busy season and was able to get me replacement parts installed the very next day. Very pleased with their service.

Willie was excellent ! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing HVACR service! He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly; he walked me through what he saw and explained what the situation was and why it mattered. He ended up needing a little extra materials and didn’t charge more. Excellent and cost-friendly service and my home is toasty warm!
