I want to thank A1 for taking care of me and my family. The technicians Teko, and Nick were very engaging and informative. I appreciate their insight on maintenance care and upkeep to ensure we get the most out of our AC. I appreciate the fact that when they ran into an issue with one of the parts, they were able to get on the phone with their manager, Rob, and come up with an efficient solution. The parts department was closed that day, but they came back early the next morning with the updated part and finished the job without delay.
On the day of service we received a call from the call center to confirm our appointment, and then another call when the technicians were on the way. The technicians were on time and when they left, made sure everything was cleaned. My wife and I were very frustrated that our AC went out. However, the services, and education of our system from the technicians, helped to ease our anxieties. We are grateful for Rob, the manager at A#1, and his technicians Teko and Nick for really taking good care of us.
We had three service technicians show up on Friday and they were all professional; Ronaldis, Ethan and Xavier.
They wore the booties on their shoes, they moved bookcases, cabinets, appliances, etc to get to the outlets and switches. They moved everything back and they also went around and cleaned up and used a vacuum.
We have been using A#1 Air for years (since 2009). We used some local electricians and HVAC Companies from 1995 to 2009, but A#1 were always upfront on the costs of the repairs, the pros and cons, warranty and service issues, fixing a problem instead of selling a whole new unit not needed. I have seen workers here at my home until 10pm trying to resolve an issue.
We had a situation a week ago that after a large thunderstorm, the next morning half of the bedroom electrical outlets and lights were not working. They came and found out that our 1977 home had a different type of electrical wiring to the outlets and there was a loose wire which could have started an electrical fire. They fixed it and the other outlets worked.
They recommended replacing all of my outlets and light switches (we had some that would stick or we would have to flip up and down). It turns out that out of about 40 outlets and switches in the house, about 40% of them had loose wiring or the insulation showed signs of heating up.
They also found an issue in my fairly recent circuit panel that one of the switches was not tripping properly.
They did an electrical inspection and found that our home did not have enough GFI plugs (it was built in 1977). They were the first electrical company to come through and tell us this.
We feel better about seeing the improvement and knowing we can sleep a little better at night.
About 10 years ago that was a home down our alley that did catch on fire and burned to the ground.
Around 2009 we had A#1 replace our original and faulty (in the news) of an electrical panel was widely used but should be replaced (Western Pacific).
You could find someone cheaper? Probably. I tried that years ago and I had mismatched condensers and HVAC units in the house. A#1 years ago upgraded ours so it was more efficient for our square footage.
They also have painless and affordable financing. We went with a reputable finance company that had a low 6% that we could afford in our budget.
We had them also install attic insulation years ago too.
A#1 also has plumbing services too.
I like how they will send an email of who is arriving, give you a courtesy call the day before and the day of.
It is nice to work with a company like A#1 that has a detailed record of what work has been done in my home (that they will honor) compared to trying to work with a variety of different trades.
I am a repeat customer of A#1 Air and my last 2 calls were serviced by the most caring, patient & knowledgeable young man Mr. Clint Reasoner II. He installed a Hot Water Heater today and the Job is Superb. He didn't hesitate answering my questions and he delivered everything promised from a quote he gave me when he also completed a bathtub leak for me in Oct 2022. Thank You Clint and A#1 Air
We got a new system installed by Hugo and Jose. Those guys did an amazing job and didn’t rush anything. They were both professional and did not make any mess. We really appreciate them installing our new system without any issues! The system works and our home is much cooler. The staff of A#1 air scheduled everything and they were on top of everything as far as getting the install scheduled. Everyone has been super professional. We definitely would recommend A#1 air to friends and family!
Wow! I now know why over 4K 5 star reviews. Called me back at 730am after a late night inquiry on their website the day before. Multiple days of over 100 heat on our ac did it in. Had a tech at my house by 2pm and a new ac installed by 6pm. Everyone I spoke to was so friendly and professional. Quincy and Dave were awesome. Thank you again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I had a gas furnace go bad just after a major ice storm. A#1 Air was fast to respond to a service request for repairs. Turns out the hvac system I inherited from a previous owner was about at the end of its life after 7 years of poor maintenance. The company outfitted me with a new system on the same day and it works about 100x better than the old one. Highly recommend them for their fast service, willingness to explain all available options, and professionalism.
From sales, to financing without perfect credit, to scheduling, to absolutely perfect install AND TRAINING with Ray and his polite crew…I truly can’t say enough about A1! Talk about truth in advertising. A1 Pricing and customer satisfaction from a stickler!! Way to go A1! 5 stars!
Had a problem with the ac fan not turning on. Called A#1 and Chase came out quickly to look and we were having an unusual grounding problem. The electricians, Marcos and Hunter, were here in an hour and the three of them worked together to figure out what was happening. They couldn't have been any more friendly and professional! In the end, they were able to replace a few different things and get our AC up and running on this truly miserable week of high temperatures in Texas. I truly appreciate all the work and thought they put into a very unusual situation. Will absolutely recommend them to anyone who will listen. Thank you Chase, Marcos, Hunter & A#1!
