Pyramid Heating & Cooling

I have been using Pyramid for years now to take care of my heat pump system and they have always been great! I get quick service and they know what they're doing! Of course I always wince and moan when they tell me how much it's going to cost, but it would cost the same elsewhere but without the great service!

After being stood up for a maintenance appointment without an explanation or phone call by another heating and air condition company I decided it was time for a change. My first call was to Pyramid Heating and Cooling as I had heard good things about them. I was not disappointed. Everything about Pyramid was first rate from beginning to end. When I called their office for the first time Nichole took the time to explain to me what Pyramid offered for furnace maintenance. She was very friendly, professional, efficient and easy to talk with. I scheduled furnace maintenance with her for one time so that I could see how timely and efficient the technician was. The day before my scheduled service Nichole called to confirm my appointment. How nice was that! The next day the technician Deon arrived right on time as promised. Deon introduced himself, presented me with a business card and showed me his company picture identification badge. Deon was very courteous, friendly and professional. He made a very good first impression on me. While Deon inspected the furnace I observed and asked questions as they came to mind. Deon was efficient and definitely knew what he was doing. As he worked he was always happy to answer my questions and explain every step of the inspection process. Deon did not rush through the job. He took his time and made sure he did a thorough inspection. All in all the furnace maintenance call was a very positive experience. I was so impressed with the overall performance of Pyramid Heating and Cooling that at the completion of the call I decided to sign up for a yearly furnace maintenance plan. I mentioned this to Deon and he made one short call to Nichole and I was signed up for yearly furnace maintenance. All companies should be as efficient and nice to deal with as Pyramid Heating and Cooling. Thank you for a job well done from start to finish.

We've been working with Pyramid for years now and couldn't be more pleased with all our interactions. Their customer service is top notch. They always discuss the right solution for us even if it's not the most expensive and they never push us toward items that don't best suit our needs. Our regular tech Deon is AMAZING. Always giving a thorough check up on our systems and keeping everything in top working order.

Victor, our technician was simply amazing, we have had two people prior him that could not identify nor fix the issue. He nailed the problem right away, super professional and kind and honest. He even suplied me with a temp filter free of charge until I can get a replacement for the one I need. That kind of integrity in the service industry is not only a rarity nowadays but the result of his honest visit and fantastic approach has just earned this company a customer for life, thank you Pyramid and thank you Victor.

I recently became a home owner, and today it was my first time doing business with Pyramid and I'm really happy with the service they provided. The technician that came was extremely knowledgeable and didn't hesitate in explaining me details of the system that will definitely help me take better care of it. If this company can keep this level of service and adequate prices, they've definitely gained a lifetime customer.

Two weeks ago a City of Portland inspector identified problems with the heat pump that Pyramid Heating & Cooling recently installed in my home.

I called Pyramid the same day as the inspection to ask them to correct the problem. First I was told to talk with the service department. When I called today (12 days after my initial call) I was told to talk to the Retail department.

Pyramid has been paid in full but I'm getting the runaround!
Very POOR followup by the company!

If and when Pyramid takes care of the problem I'll update my review.

Randy came out to check out our furnace and air conditioning. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He also showed us that our furnace has a damper and how to adjust it through the seasons. We just purchased our home and thought we should have the HVAC system checked out and we are glad we did as he found a problem with the motor. My wife was complaining about a noise that she heard when the system started up and sure enough there was a problem. We are glad he came out now as opposed to when the system breaks down. It was money
well spent!!!

I could not be more pleased with Pyramid. A few weeks ago a breaker on our furnace tripped. We had an emergency service and the person showed me. how to set the breaker if it happened again. Last week it tripped again and started going off every 30 minutes. I figured I needed a new furnace so I called some local companies and checked Home Advisor. Pyramid came by and their consultant suggested that I first have a technician check out the furnace. I scheduled an appointment and this Wednesday Keith came by and did some diagnostics. He told me it was the secondary heat exchanger. He also told me that Carrier had issued a Bulletin about the heat exchangers possibly being defective and that he could replace them at no cost. He also advised me that the blower was not performing well and recommended I have that replaced as well. I agreed and the following day I got a call that the parts had arrived and could be replaced that day. Keith came back and within a couple of hours we were back up and warm. Had these folks not been ethical they could have just sold me a furnace for $8K or so and I would not have known better. If I ever need service again there is only one company I would consider calling

I have a carrier high efficiency furnace that had a bad secondary heat exchanger. Victor came out to diagnose, and was very knowledgeable and professional in guiding me through my options. Parts were ordered and 2 days later Spencer came to install. He was also very knowledgeable and professional. Great experience with Pyramid. If the need arises I will definitely work with them again.

They are quick to respond to phone calls and emails
They get the job done right
And they go above and beyond to make sure their customers are taken care of.
When my furnace went out during the dead of winter, Pyramid was the ONLY company who offered to bring me and my new born baby space heaters to keep us warm while we called companies for replacement estimates.
They offered to keep us warm even when we may not have chosen their company to fix our furnace.
