Technicians are great. Molly on the phone has the worst customer service attitude I’ve encountered in a long time. Rude, curt and though my furnace has been torn apart for 1 week acts as if I am bothering her by calling for status update on when someone will return. There are too many other competent companies to waste my time with rudeness. I have taken my business elsewhere.

First warm days of the year and, of course, the AC unit won't turn on. Pioneer H & C is a great, customer service oriented bunch of folks. I called & explained problem. Their guy fit me into his schedule THAT DAY! Who does that? He quickly assesses that the problem is a quick fix...and done. AND, he does a free spritzing up on the unit, so as to avoid any future issues. Highly recommend this company. Dave L., Portland.

Pioneer Gas Furnace saved me during the 2022 ice storm. My furnace stopped working, and they patiently explained to me via the phone how to thaw my frozen condenser pump drainage tube and I was able to get the furnace running again.

Our old Portland home only had central head and with the summers getting warmer and warmer I knew I needed to get an A/C unit installed. I reached out to Pioneer Gas Furnace about 3-4 months ago and the lady I spoke to on the phone was actually able to give me a rough estimate which was great! I got multiple bids and no other company was able to give me even a rough estimate over the phone. Mike (who I believe is the owner) came by my home a couple of weeks later and was nothing but professional and kind. He thoroughly explained the situation and gave me a few quotes to choose from. All well within the range of the rough estimate! Mike was not sales-y at all (which almost every other company was) and gave me a clear picture of what to expect with each option. He even said one of the lower cost options would be perfectly fine because my house didn’t need the top shelf A/C units due to it being single story and not huge. It was so relieving to just get honest answers. His bid came in well under the other bids and I booked the appointment. Fast forward two months later and the install goes 100% smoothly. Even the electrician they contracted with was wonderful. Everyone was professional and thorough in their work. I had bought a new thermostat prior to the appointment and they installed it for me at no additional cost! I can’t recommend Mike and his team enough. They did a tremendous job and I’m so happy to have cool comfort within my home. Thanks so much Pioneer Gas Furnace!!

The installed AC seems to be working fine, although attention to detail/aesthetics and regard for your home is utterly lacking--Dents out of the walls and molding, even a chunk out of our hardwood floor. The ceiling and walls were covered with black finger prints. The vent in the sealing was initially left misaligned and with several sharpie markings visible. They were responsive to fixing this, but initially no-showed that appointment. Second time out, was much better alignment, although still needing touch up. After scrubbing fingerprints off the ceiling a second time and a new chunk out of our stairway wall, opting to mend it ourselves.
Customer service reps are friendly, but inter-company communication seems to be lacking.
