Pyramid Heating & Cooling

We had Pyramid come and make repairs to our a/c. The HVAC unit broke in the middle of the 100 degree weather. The original installer (Apex) did not come a d diagnose properly. When Pyramid came out, Victor, made as many fixes as he could to help remedy for a short period of time but recommended putting UV dye in the lines to see if there were any more leaks that can't be seen. I'm very glad he did this because the lines froze up again and we were without cold air in the middle of the heatwave yet again. Victor made final repairs that are holding up without issue. Victor came to the house a total of 3 times and each time was so kind. He was processional and thorough. He treated all the spaces in the home as if they were his. He definitely went above and beyond with his work. I am so thankful my children can sleep in their rooms safely now. Thank you Pyramid! I highly recommend Pyramid to anyone needing HVAC work done.

Just tragically poor service. Was going to be a one day job. They left our bedroom with holes in the ceiling for weeks as they kept doing part of the job, one day at a time. Then putting us at the bottom of the queue when they found the next problem. Today they finished finally. But we came home to water all over our floor leaking from the ceiling unit they installed. Just at a loss of what to do, and I have never left a negative review before.

In response to their response. I never agreed to go to the bottom of the queue. Quite the opposite. He said the absolute soonest he could get me in would be a week (after the first time). I said I am not going to scream and curse at you, but I would like it fixed as soon as humanly possible and I trust you to take care of it. I am just finding out now that he went completely against what I asked him to do and proceeded with other clients instead.

The leak has been fixed, and the unit is functioning properly at the time of this edit for what it is worth.

From the beginning, we had a wonderful experience with Pyramid Heating & Cooling. Ellen was a pleasure to schedule services with. We had someone come out to take a look at our furnace and make sure that it was in working order. Our furnace is very old, and we knew that it was making a clunking sound. Deon diagnosed the issue, in that we needed a new motor to the furnace. He found the the part, drove to pick it up and installed the new motor all in the same day. He was courteous, prompt and very professional. We had another person from Pyramid Heating scheduled to come out the next day to do duct cleaning. Dale arrived on time, was courteous and did a wonderful job cleaning the heating ducts and dryer vent. I am so glad that I called this company to do this work. I feel like I got a lot for the money that I paid.

We have pre installed HVAC (heating and cooling) done by builder via Pyramid Heating & Cooling before moving into our new home. It worked well for 7-8 months after which issues started coming up. Top floor cooling during summer months takes lot of time and flow of A/C is limited beyond first floor. Put in a request with Pyramid and still working to resolve this issue for last 2-3 months. They schedule 3 or 4 or more visits to diagnose , however each time it's our responsibility to call in and schedule appointment to take the next steps. Team did find some leakages , however to get that fixed we have to constantly follow up for weeks. There is no co-ordination within the Pyramid team to fix a problem start to finish.

Really frustrated with the service we have received so far. I dont recommend them at all. We are left with limited choice as they are the installer. But given a chance , will move out to find someone else who can help.

Pyramid replaced our aging gas furnace and air conditioner with a new system. Athen and his crew were prompt, professional and courteous. Their hard work had our new system up and running in one day and we are 5 star pleased. Will recommend Pyramid to all in our area.

To start, Dean was right on time. He informed me immediately that he couldn’t do the A/C maintenance because it was too cold outside and I really appreciated Dean letting me know that right up front. Dean not only did a great job with the furnace maintenance, he educated me on our system and how to make it more efficient. This was great because my wife and I recently purchased this home.
Based on my positive experience with Dean, I would recommend him and Pyramid Heating & Cooling to everyone.

Lead Service Tech, Athen, was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Very thorough with what explaining preventative maintain being preformed as well as findings and explanations of items needing to be addressed. We will certainly use Pyramid for future PM’s and services.

We had Pyramid install a brand new ptac ac unit in our bed room last summer. The installer put it in but had no idea how to program the thermostat. He said this is taking to long might have to google it and left. It took me many calls to get someone out to get it programmed. Then when the unit is running during the day when it was the hottest it made an awful noise. I called, emailed and sent video of the problem to pyramid, no help was given. Pyramid pretty much just ignored me and the problem with the unit. It is still making the noise and I am trying to find someone who can help me with these units. Pyramid obviously has no interest in helping. Very poor customer service and will definitely not be using them again for any ac work I might need.
I wanted to update this review . I did receive a call from the residential project coordinator who out of the blue sent me an email wondering if I was still having problems with our ac. I said yes and sent her video again for the third time and she said one came through but the other didn’t. I sent again and I got an email reply that she will be out of the office for a week. Well that was well over a month ago and still no word from her . I have since contacted Amana and have found a company that actually repairs these units and does the warranty work. Even if Pyramid reaches out to me again I will not use them for any service on this or any of my hvac units.

I Hired Pyramid Heating in May of 2020 to install a ductless mini split. Paid over $11k The system did not work correctly. They came back several times, put some new parts in and tried multiple times to get it going better. I was then told that my wifi signal was not strong enough?? The system cooled OK but it would not heat the home at all. It quit working all together in June of 2021.
I called Area Heating and they came out 1 time and within 1 hour told me the system was wired backwards and that's why it worked so intermittently. $551 was the bill.
The system worked really well until 10/21. I called Area Heating again and they came out and told me the system had lost pressure. They found a leaking pipe fitting and repaired it and filled the system. They did complain to me about sloppy workmanship and informed me these systems need to installed by a trained mechanic.
5/22 system is low on pressure again and they are going to have do a leak detection test and have said they may need to take everything apart and re fit the flared pipe connections as it cannot be warranted with the current installation. I forgot to mention they drilled a hole through my roof and said sorry I thought it was the attic. I still need to fix that hole.
Please learn from my mistake and hire someone else.

5/22 Contacted by Pyramid Heating and cooling. They came out removed some copper tubing that was too small and reinstalled the correct lines. They took every fitting apart and re flared them. The system works well now.
