We have been working with Brady Flanary HVAC for a number of years for maintenance on our two units. Even though my parents had a less than optimal experience on a new unit installed, I did not change to another company. I always suspected they overcharged on simple services and tech calls but in fairness, their technicians seemed responsive and informed.......until now. We have one older unit upstairs that requires a little more TLC and one newer unit downstairs. We've had Brady Flanary perform regular maintenance on these units each year. On Friday the regular maintenance was performed, but instead of one of the seasoned technicians familiar with our home/ units, we were visited by a very young, inexperienced maintenance technician, sporting no tools to accommodate any potential need for Freon, etc. He said the units "were in good shape and working well—nothing was needed."
Less than two days later, we awoke to no air condition upstairs. We called Brady Flanary, who sent out another technician to service the unit, and he added 4 1/2 pounds of Freon. This is a lot of Freon for a unit that just passed as "working well, no issues." Off the technician went, after attesting that the unit, now charged up with Freon, was properly cooling. The next morning, same thing. Awoke to no air condition.....again. Mind you we were already at $318 for the regular maintenance trip, which arguably could have started the problem, then add another $410 for Freon the Sunday after the Friday maintenance trip. So by the third trip on Monday, we are in over $725 for maintenance and repairs and still no working air. The third technician arriving on Monday proclaimed the coil was leaking, he couldn't repair it, couldn't add any more Freon. So why was the $400 worth of Freon added the day before?! A leak test is far cheaper than Freon, which obviously did not fix the problem. The call this morning came with the resolution of "your coil replacement will be close to $2500 and there will be NO adjustment to ANY of the previous, unsatisfactory service calls". We were told Monday that a leak test was performed however that is a flat out lie. The service tech stated he ran a "sniffer" as the leak test but the only actual valid leak test is performed with nitrogen and soap to determine where the leaks are. The sniffer is the quick way to sell you a new unit.
So, within 3 days’ time, we went from a working air conditioner to a broken unit immediately after maintenance, we are out $725, and no chance to resolve the issue without replacing the coil?! Is this how a reputable company does business?! Simply beware, BF is out to maximize revenue/ profits; period. Resolving a problem in the most effective manner, with integrity is not their priority. So much for being a long time customer....

I had a very bad service experience with Flanary and Brady recently and I previously wrote a review with a 1 star because of it. In general, I felt I was over charged for the service performed . I got a song and a dance from the serviceman who visited me as to why it was so much. I felt very uneasy and later after I really thought about it all , a little mad, thus my one star rating. I then went right to Flanary and complained. Neil Flanary e-mailed me back and gave me a reduction of the bill, but, I later saw their Ad saying they refund 100% if not completely satisfied. Well, that made me a little annoyed again because I was far less than 100% satisfied and I only got "some" money back. Why?? Your promise is 100%. You company is only as good as promises kept. I wrote back and explained this. Neil Flanary replied and agreed and is sending back "all" the money as they agreed they would. BRAVO!!..I have gained back some trust. However, i wish it never happened. They finally handled it the right way and I now give them 5 stars less one star for all this inconvenience. But thank you for making it right!!!!! I have not received my money back yet but, I trust you will send it .... Regards and God Bless.

I recommend Brady Flanery for they are knowledgeable and friendly. They installed my heat pump when I bought a house about 13 years ago. I have had very little work on it.

Called Brady Flanary on Thursday, July 20, to inform them of my air running all day. This was my first time calling them ever. They sent Bradley out the same day. We discovered the problem, but then realized I could probably go through my home warranty company. Well, the couldn't send someone out until the following Wednesday. I called Bradley back on Friday evening, and he was out to fix the problem on Saturday morning. Excellent customer service, and I even got a follow up call to see how everything was going.

Our experience with Brady Flanary was positive in every way. Of all the estimates we got, Brad Fulk was the only one who showed up with a schematic of our house and how his proposal would satisfy our needs. The technicians, Mikey and Tyler, were prompt, professional and courteous. They're welcome back here any time, as is Mr. Fulk. Great doing business with folks who actually do what they promise!!
