We had some plumbing work done by Alexander, and were very pleased with the entire process. We had a hot water issue that I wasn't sure how to address. Jeremiah provided an excellent solution. Vincent did the installation, along with 3 toilets and a kitchen faucet, in a very neat and efficient manner. Everyone was easy to work with. Highly recommended.

I was able to get an appointment to tune up my AC unit the week following the week that I called. The technician was on time - wore a mask, gloves, and shoe coverings and endeavored to stick only to the thermostats and unit in the attic and went around to the back (I live in a town home) without going through my home. I truly appreciated this approach. The unit was serviced and the cost was very reasonable. I “found” this company because my daughter uses their services too and has been very happy with them.

My crawlspace was flooded with water, damaging my water heater almost to the point of extinction. I was scheduled for next day service. The technician arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. Even though they are not crawlspace experts, he gave us some tips on how to keep it sealed up and the water out. He removed the water with a pump and gave us a quote to install a permanent sump pump. Should we decide to move ahead with installing a permanent pump, we will definitely use Alexander Services! So glad we went with them!

Our heat pump went out on Christmas Day, Alexander Services come out the next day. Handled the need for a replacement. Scheduled the installation of the new unit. We are very pleased with our new system. Thanks to Wendy, Frank, Cody and all who got us comfortable in our home again.

Had a small plumbing emergency this morning. Called, and Vincent, the tech, was here in just over an hour. He diagnosed, recommended replacement, and completed the replacement all within an hour.
We have been HVAC customers with Alexander for several years now, so I knew that we would get the best service for our plumbing need.
10/10 would always recommend!

My wife and I purchased a home that needed extensive repairs/modifications. Our hope was to have all work completed prior to us moving into the home for the safety of us and workers during COVID times. We relied referrals and good reviews and trusted Alexander with our empty home.

For the most part, everything seemed to be going well except for numerous errors with the company's invoicing system. (The company repeatedly sent us invoices containing items that were removed/modified. My wife had to call in several times to ensure the invoices were correct and we were paying for exactly what was completed). We understand that numerous changes to invoices were made due to additional work we wanted done, however the invoices contained vague descriptions of work to be completed and it was nearly impossible to tell what work was for what. For example, light fixtures (such as garage lights, chandeliers, etc.) and ceiling fans were all lumped together, leading to a huge issue at the end.

We stopped by the house a few times during the month and were dismayed to see that the electrical technicians left trash directly under the light fixtures they were to replace. The old broken light fixtures, along with the new boxes, wires, styrofoam, were left in the house instead of removed or placed in the garage. My wife called and left a message asking for the trash to be removed, but either no one received this message or it was ignored.

Finally, Alexander's representatives (Wendy, Jordan, etc.) assured us that all work would be completed 2/5/2021. We had hired a maid service to clean the entire house on 2/6/2021. My wife called Alexander to settle up the invoices (only two remained as she had paid the rest previously.) Again, Jordan assured us that all the work at been done. My wife called about the two invoices, and Jordan said she could only find one. My wife was confused, but finally settled on paying the one invoice. Later, Jordan called saying that she had found the other invoice, which my wife then paid.

I stopped by the house the evening of 2/5/2021 and was shocked to find that trash was still everywhere in the home. I spent the next few hours lugging heavy fans and light fixtures to garage so that the maids would be able to clean the next day. In addition, a light fixture that we provided for the technicians to install was not installed and a washer and dryer that we paid to have installed were not installed after we had been assured that all work had been completed. We were furious. Having seen work not completed, it brought into question if everything on the invoice had been completed.

The next day, Alexander sent out technicians to complete the work, but this was after the maids were done. Even after the technicians were told to clean up after themselves, we found plaster and the trash in the home. We were later told that it was a policy to not throw away old fixtures as it was a problem if owners later complained. This policy was NEVER communicated to us and we specifically requested that the trash be removed. We were appalled to find wires in the brand new carpet of our 14-month daughter's room that were too heavy for the maids' vacuums to pick up.

On Monday, my wife received several emails from Jordan with additional invoices that she claimed needed to be paid. Jordan asked for proof of payment - note, this was the invoice she couldn't find in the first place.

My wife and I both separately spoke with the owner Frank Alexander trying to find a resolution to our issues. He was inconsistent in what he told us and offered us $300 when we had paid over $20,000, saying he could not afford anything higher. Wendy claimed she would help resolve the issue, but so far has done nothing. Had my daughter swallowed a wire, I guarantee, it would not cost $300. I would not recommend this company for their lack of communication, their lack of accountability (why was a final walk-through of the invoice not performed? There is still incomplete work), and their disregard for their customers and their property.

service company. Fast and Efficient service and extremely customer
friendly. Jeremy Stein was very knowledgeable and professional.
He not only provided us a complete and HONEST assessment of the
problem, he explained how the AC system worked so we would be familiar with
how the repair directly impacted the system. He took the extra time needed to ensure we were satisfied with the service being provided. Overall, I give Alexander Heating and Air Conditioning a HUGE THUMBS UP! Thanks to Jeremy.
We will definitely use this company for all our future Heating and HVAC needs.

Update note from 2nd visit:
Brad removed my old hot water and installed my new one. Once again, he was very punctual and completed the job in a reasonable amount of time in a most professional way. The work area was left neat and tidy.
I would also like to mention I was very pleased with the overall reception I received from the secretarial staff in answering questions and scheduling.
Alexander Services provided great customer service. I was very pleased to find out about the vast services they offer. I will definitely use this company again for future needs

I've used Alexander Heating for simple maintenance before, but used them this spring to replace my entire furnace and A/C system. Jeremy, Julius, and Omar had the job done in one day (this was a lot of work!), the install was really clean and they took care of things I wouldn't even think of; The AC unit outside was moved slightly to make the connection to the house better, all the exterior connections were wrapped, new thermostats put on, the attic furnace unit was installed cleanly (better than the original), new drain pan and shutoff, etc. Not a bit of damage to any trim or drywall, they even vacuumed up after. By 5PM you couldn't tell they had ever been here and two days later the town inspector signed off on it without issue.

Very thankful for the professional service and I'd definitely recommend them.

We bought a service contract with Alexander Heating and Air in the spring. Had our first need for service today when one of our units had a wiring short. This caused a hole in the pipe which lost all our Freon.

We like the company’s quick response. We also like dealing with Jeffrey. He is professional and very knowledgeable.
