I am extremely satisfied with the service call performed by William Smith. He immediately diagnosed the problem of no cool air circulating to our 2nd and 3rd floor and quickly and efficiently cleaned the units. I highly recommend Mr. Smith as an experienced and friendly professional. Thanks again for your awesome work!

Alan arrived on time, inspected both units and provided service options for consideration. He was prompt, courteous and explained what he found in layman's terms as well as provided photos as part of his explanation. 71 Degrees provides a good service at fair pricing.

Good communications, email, text, and phone calls, rare these days and much appreciated for someone who is extremely busy. Not too mention service was on time and even came after it snowed and could of easily cancelled. Had my routine maintenance and no up charges secretly appeared; which happens so often with other company's. The service was prompt and ethical. Ernis was great with answering all my questions. This company has exceeded my expectations. I wish more company's followed 72 degrees standard of excellence.

Highly recommended.

Holy cow, the upsell bordered on thievery. I booked the $48 tune-up for my a/c. Justin came out; 10 minutes later he is trying to sell us on $800 in repairs. He also said our unit was 2 years older than the house was. He said that we needed 2lbs of refrigerant (at $220 a pound!), but there wasn’t a leak. So that’s impossible. A quick review of home ownership sites shows you should avoid technicians saying you need a “top up.” No thanks.

We love this company! This isn't the first time we've hired them to replace a unit for us (different house in Raleigh), and our experience was so good the first time, they are our go-to phone call whenever we have heating/air needs. We had a new HVAC installed, along with a heat pump that will help us be more efficient with our propane usage. Eddie (the owner) personally came out to our house to give us the proposals, and educate us as to what we would need to accomplish our goals. We have found their pricing to be competitive, and have never worked with an HVAC company with more integrity and dedication to customers. They perform work quickly, and take care to keep our home clean while they work (which is important to us, since we have toddlers in the house). We definitely recommend 72Degrees to anyone looking for exceptional service.

Emmanuel did an excellent service on my gas furnace. He was very thorough and explained to me everything that he did. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. I hope that I get him for every semi-annual service on my HVAC. Best of all, he is a Marine Corps veteran.

I had my reservations about a commercial company- but I was impressed on many levels with Emmanuel. He was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. Generally I do not leave reviews, but this experience was worthy of leaving one.

Alan was extremely professional and competent. He found the problem and also brought to our attention another major issue. He also took the time to explain everything thoroughly including pictures. Highly recommend.

I would caution anyone financing through this company. They opened up 3 credit cards in my name because they did not properly verify my name before hitting submit. I had to call and close the additional accounts because it was clear that 72 degrees was not going to be much help, they treated it as if it was no big deal and that the accounts would close themselves when there was no activity. I have used them in the past and they used to be pretty good but something in the office staff has changed and I would not recommend 72 degrees to anyone. Do yourself a favor and save you credit score by looking for a different HVAC contractor.

I had an issue with my heat/ac unit that could not be ignored. I contacted 72 degrees when I could not get anyone else on a short notice. My unit was installed by Carolina Comfort Air about 3 years ago when my house was built. The tech came out on the 8th of Dec to evaluate and possibly get my heat going again. He was unsuccessful, however scheduled for 2pm the next day. The next day came and he ended up being 45 mins late. I overlooked that because at this point I just wanted my heater to work before the cold weather. He was unsuccessful, however, he did tell me that there was a line upstairs leaking and he would be able to fix either on Monday 11 Dec or Tuesday 12 Dec. I contacted him via text on Monday and the response was the office will be in contact. So I contacted the company only to find that he was not going to continue and to cancel the contract. The person I spoke with told me they had no one to fix the issue and I would need to find someone else. So I contacted the company who installed the unit, Carolina Comfort, and was fortunate that they were able to come out that night, 12 Dec 17. The tech from Carolina Comfort told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my unit, no leaks, and all he had to do was reset the discharge air temp on the unit in the attic. I took him about 30 mins start to finish. He also informed me that my unit had great pressure and was in pretty good shape. All in all, I should have contacted Carolina Comfort in the first place instead of trying to save some money. NTM, on 23 Oct 17, I had my unit serviced for fall and was told that there was nothing wrong with the system. The tech from 72 degrees that came out on the 8th Dec told me that I had very little refrigerant and it was due to a leak. Really, that should have been identified on the 23rd. It was not, so I have no idea what they actually did, but charge me for the service. Also I was paying 16 dollars a month for a service contract and to save money on service calls. What gets me the most is the tech that I dealt with on the 8th and 9th of Dec did not even have the stones to tell me that he could not do the job, he had the company tell me that. If you cant do the job, let the customer know that he will try to find a solution or someone else that could, just don't leave the customer in the dark. I'm disappointed with this company because they ended up being part of the problem instead of the solution.
