Alan V. was professional, friendly and very knowledgeable about the systems he services. I was told earlier by another service man that my mini split upstairs was only AC. Alan took the time to go upstairs and check out the unit and make sure that there is cooling and heating. I'm thrilled!

After the initial inspection, Edward while taking his pocket knife and poking around at the coils determined my txv valve was bad. Almost 3 weeks later after back and forth about ordering said part they agreed to come to the house and repair txv.

We recieved phone call from Edward stating that a homeowner needed to be present. We had our nanny here as we both work and weren't instructed otherwise. After speaking with Edward and our nanny we decided it was best that he just leave.

We had entrusted them to do the job right as they came out on memorial day and stated that repair was typical and easy. So after 3 weeks without A/C and their excuse filled schedule delays, and Edward belittling our nanny and us.

We finally decided to go with another contractor and after telling them what 72° had diagnosed our system with, they were here the next day with said part. They changed the part and A/C unit wasn't holding correct pressures required to run effectively. They then traced it down to faulty coils, the same coils Edward decided to poke around with his pocket knife. These coils are made of copper and especially sharp things have no problem making holes or doing damage. Other contractor was back a day later with new coils and after almost an entire month we had working A/C again.

All the while my efforts to get in touch with anyone at 72° that wasn't the receptionist or a tech were ignored. We had put our trust in them, they did come out on Memeroial Day and failed to diagnose our system correctly. All they offered was a free system tune up, 3 1/2 weeks after they originally showed up.

Never once did they attempt to make things right, other than an email stating they tried to reach me via telephone. I replied within minutes and made sure they had correct numbers for either myself or my spouse and still no response. Neither my wife or I had any missed calls regarding this situation from 72°. They are completely unprofessional and I would hope that anyone else in my situation would not use these folks. After all, we do live in North Carolina and 3 weeks with out A/C in June is unbearable, especially when it could have and should have been fixed within days. I would have understood if they simply said we cannot help due to work load, IMO that would've been ok. Instead we took their word and went nearly a month without A/C.

Please choose your contractor wisely.

I have always had nothing but good things to say about 72 Degrees until now. Over 5 years as a loyal customer paying a monthly fee for expedited service. My A/C went out Friday night with a house full of guests. I called at 7:28 pm and was told no help until between 8-10 Monday morning. No technical advice or anything just wait in a HOT house until Monday. I fixed it myself Saturday morning NO THANKS to 72 Degrees.

Will was prompt, professional, friendly, and most importantly, knowledgeable. He had diagnosed my problem and fixed it within ten minutes of arrival. I am very appreciative of his service upon a call requesting help with my heating problem on a late, snowy Saturday night.

72 Degrees really takes their customer service to another level. We were having some issues with warm spots in our house during the hot summer months. During a regular service visit, I mentioned this to the service representative. He took the time to evaluate my issues and offer suggestions. He made some subtle changes to my airflow and dramatically improved the air circulation throughout our home.
I would recommend 72 degrees for all your HVAC needs!

Over the years at our homes and rental property I have interacted with quite a few HVAC techs. Manny with 72 Degrees ranks right up there with the best of them. I found him to be very knowledgeable, personable, a good communicator, and effective. He also followed up very quickly when a question came up the next day.

Just moved to Apex, and I had an issue with my AC. Justin came out and fixed... even called me to see if I was available 3 hours earlier than our window (very much appreciated on a hot day!). Stay clear of this company!!! They cut corners on the design of my HVAC system. I completely replaced duct work furnace and a.c. unit. The person who designed system decided the old boots didn't need replaced. I the customer trusted the designer of system and went forward. Now I have mold all through my house and so it's my fault. The other issue I have is this was addressed last summer 3 months after install and they co me out and say nothing is wrong and overlook issue. I'm the blame and they offer 10% discount to what should have been done square 1. Watch out for this company at all costs because customer satisfaction is not in their DNA or stand behind entire experience. I am not unreasonable, but 10% off their working for free. Definitely lost our neighborhood for work and hopefully more. Biggest mistake I've made thus far!!

We interviewed with 3 companies and by far Eddie and his team out weighed the others. Instead of just looking to do a quick change out of units. They made several changes to the original installation as a whole and explained how the changes would benefit us. I could write a really long review explaining all the benefits and the differences I found between these three heating and cooling companies. However, I will just said if you are looking for a heating and cooling company to do it right and be more than competitive just give 72 Degrees a call and ask for Eddie. See for yourself the difference this company will make over the others and you will see what we did. We made the right decision and I know you will too. The installers were great to work with and worked a very long day to ensure we had the comfort back in our home before leaving. First class company all the way!!! Thanks so much to everyone!!!
