72 Degrees Heating & Air Conditioning

Good experience. Our 13 year old system was starting to freeze up/struggle- so I called 72 Degrees on a Sunday. They offered to come out off-hours, but explained that there likely wasn't much they could do with an older R-22 unit and I'd be better off to wait and avoid a service call fee. It was still cooling somewhat, so I just had them stop by the next day.

On Monday, we discussed a few options and trade offs, got a straightforward (and reasonable) quote, - and by Wednesday afternoon I had a new system humming along. Full disclosure- I did not shop price; I had a ballpark in mind and his quote was already around the lower end of the range I expected. There may be cheaper out there (for comparable equipment), but I doubt it would be by much.

No one likes to have to drop $$$ on HVAC equipment, but if you find that you must, I'd recommend 72 Degrees. They were prompt, communicative, and did exactly what they said they'd do at what I felt was a fair price.

Gas heater went out over the weekend. 72 degrees came out that morning and did a complete check of the system. Found the issue and let me know the condition of my unit. Had to order a part to have it fixed. They did't wait to have the part shipped, they went it and pick it up and had it installed the next day. I had a great experience with 72 degrees and will be using them again with my heating and cooling needs

Technician performed the necessary heating maintenance. He found some mold in the unit, and informed us how to fixed it. We received a prompt estimate. He installed a UV light and cleanned the coils.

72 Degrees did a great job installing our new energy efficient system. The HERS system has already saved us money and the new duct work and overall system is just doing such a better job heating and cooling the house. The 72 Degrees team was so professional, on time and tidy - which meant a lot as I was traveling for work and my wife felt very happy with the team and process. Would definitely recommend.

We called this morning and scheduled an appointment with them to check on our heat system. The lady on the phone was nice. However, when the technician came, I told him about the problems with heat and sensor control, he said, "do you want me to check the heat or the sensor control? If you want me to check the heat system, it is $89. If you want me to check the sensor control is another $89." I told him just the heat so he went to the side of my house and start checking. After about 15 mins or so, he came back and told me there is a part in the furnace was overheated and it is gonna cause $1511. I asked him, "is it better just replace the whole thing." he said, "Only the part is overheated but I can't tell you if there is any other problems before you have the part replaced." at this moment, he did not tell me which part of the heat needs to replaced. I asked him to wait 5 mins and my husband is on the way back and has some question and he told me I just need to collect the $89 first. After I gave him the check, he seems like he wants to leave even though I told him my husband will back within 1 mins. Overall I do not recommended anyone paying the $89 to those kinda service. Save your money to other place.

The guy who serviced our HVAC had a clear mandate, to suggest parts need replacing at prices 2-3 times more than can be bought online. He offered to make almost $2000 in repair work. This company is just out to make money preying on people who don't know better. I would never use this company again.

I highly recommend 72 Degrees and their technician Manny. I called because I was having issues with my HVAC unit and they were able to send him out later that day. Manny was able to identify and fix the issue within 30 minutes.

Another great experience with 72 degrees! We had a supco surge suppressor burst into flames, taking with it our disconnect box. They were able to come out the next day and my technician, Edward, made a quick and professional repair and we have heat again. This is now 4 exceptional experiences with this company. HVAC companies can be very sketchy and I trust this one implicitly.

72 Degrees is the best. Found had a thermostat problem Thursday night. Sent an URGENT email request before I went to bed and they called me at 8:15 am to set up the service call. Service tech showed up as promised and though it took a while, he chased down a wiring problem and had us up and running again by afternoon.
