Huge thank you to Chris for coming out to diagnose and fix an issue with my furnace not kicking in. It turned out to be an issue with the thermostat needing to be replaced. He was kind to recommend a model and had it installed in no time. I was impressed with the overall service experience and so relieved to have my furnace working again! Our furnace went out on a Saturday and we were out of town. Chris answered our call at 3pm on Saturday and walked us through all our options. He came out to the house Sunday to check everything out. He offered to bring heaters to plug in for the next 24 hours. He was very kind and knowledgeable. His team was out at 8am on Monday. They were professional and efficient. In the course of a routine furnace inspection in Feb. 2023, the technician from Residential, Dane, informed me that the heat exchanger on my 13 year old Carrier furnace was damaged beyond repair, was producing dangerous levels of carbon monoxide and needed, by law, to be shut down. He provided a bid to replace the furnace. I said I needed to get a second opinion before investing $5,000+ in a new furnace. A second company confirmed the diagnosis and provided a repair bid only slightly less than the replacement cost bid from Residential. After consulting with several neighbors about their heating system replacements, I determined that the bid from Residential was competitive. Their install team came the next day and installed the new furnace. In the course of the installation, the electrician on the install team was able to identify a problem with the humidifer (attached to the old furnace and then re-used, attached to the newly installed furnace) that I had suspected for some time but was unable to get diagnosed correctly. After the new furnace was installed, the fan was running continuously and the humidifier leaked extensively the night after the install. I informed Residential and Dane returned quickly to investigate. He quickly found minor several adjustments that needed to be made and made them. It's never fun to have make quick decisions about major expenses like a new furnace, but I felt that Dane and Residential dealt fairly and provided excellent service at a competitive price.

I diagnosed my furnace as having a crack in one of the runners. Reached out to these folks. Renee was patient and great in explaining to me the process (mostly me griping about the diagnosis fee they charge, but it is understandable as they have to file the warranty paperwork/deal w disposal/etc).

I forget who the tech was but he was professional and quick. My heat exchanger was just about to fall out of warranty so I'm glad we got it sorted out. It's been two years and the furnace is working great.

As both a home owner and a Real Estate Advisor I have have dozens of experiences with Residential Heating and Cooling. Their customer service is unmatched! The only time I had a less than stellar experience with a employee who showed up to service our furnace and refused to do the work (he also quit the next day apparently), they were quick to get me back on the schedule with a discount for my inconvenience. The have also had very fair pricing compared to other options! I will continue to use and recommend them!

My furnace stopped working on a VERY COLD Saturday morning. I called Residential Heating and Air. I was very relieved that they had technicians on call on the weekends. The technician named Sam showed up within 2 hours after the initial call. After some diagnostic tests, he found out that the blower's motor was shot. It made sense because the blower had been making a high-pitch noise.

I was quite nervous, thinking it would take a long time to replace it because the furnace is quite old. To my surprise, Sam located a replacement part right away. He went to pick up the blower motor and came back with the new blower motor within an hour.

He got the blower motor replaced and the furnace was up and running. Everything went SOOOOO smoothly. Sam is super honest, friendly and knowledgeable. No up-selling, no hidden cost. Only honest, expert opinions and that gave me peace of mind and confidence. Everything was done perfectly. The most important thing was that I got the heat back within half a day. So, THANK YOU to Sam and Residential Heating and Air!!! Highly recommend their services and I would NOT hire anyone else for my heating and AC.

Residential serviced my repair that they inherited from another provider, and ultimately they replaced it. The cost was very fair, and more importantly, they were easy to work with, responsive, fit it into my schedule, and even the city inspectors commented that the work was well done, plus they commented that Residential always does good work. On a Thursday morning @3am my 19 year old furnace finally broke down. My furnace was “red tagged”. I had assumed i would not have heat until the next week at best.

I wanted to support the local businesses and called Residential. I talked with Renee at the end of the day and she was super helpful and went above and beyond to line me up for an install the next day (8am on friday). The next day bright and early they showed up to look at the install. Within short while the installers arrived. Everything went great and the entire team was great.

This entire situation went very well and would recommend them for sure. 5 out of 5
