Air conditioning not diagnosed correctly. Wish it hadn't come to this. Used our home warranty company for this also. First diagnosis was a burnt out condenser... which was replaced just over 2 years ago now.... end of last summer it burned out again? It took 6 months to finally get it replaced again. After a new technician looked at it again the beginning of this season, it was determined that the condenser and evaporator coil are not compatible. Company said it was their fault and will take care of it .. Going on almost two weeks and I've called twice for answers. Nothing.

Jared of K & S Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical came by today to do a seasonal air conditioner check-up. He was amazing to work with, educated me on various pieces, and answered every question I had. He also went above and beyond on his service as well and made sure my unit was working as efficiently as possible. Finally, he made some important recommendations for our whole HVAC system that we are going to take into account-thanks so much Jared!

One of the worst contractors I've had to deal with as a home owner. Everything seemed to go just fine with the initial estimate and scheduling. When the work was finally done we didn't have any issues with it but being naïve we paid the bill in full prior to the inspections being done by the city. That's when the "fun" really got started. K & S was completely unprofessional and unresponsive to working with the city inspector (specifically the warm air permit) for months. After repeated calls to them and the inspector I was just being told by each to talk to the other. When I pay a contractor to perform some work the expectation is that the permit is a part of that work. That is not how K & S operates. After a final call where the supervisor was really rude to me I decided to just let things play out.
A year (I'm not kidding) later the installer that did our job shows up unannounced at my door saying that they'd lost my case in some paperwork and needed to submit pictures to the city. Then crickets again for another year. Finally last month I called the city and the inspector told me that because K & S hadn't responded to his query for so long that he hadn't realized that they had eventually sent him the information he had asked for 2 years ago. So I finally got that permit, just a cool 2 years after K & S was supposed to have gotten this sorted. If it was possible for me to give them a zero star rating I would. Absolutely the worst company I've gad the displeasure of dealing with and caution every one against using them.

Honest and reliable. This company has saved me thousands. One company told me I had a leak and needed a new furnace, and K&S came out immediately and actually showed me there was no issue. Ask for their spring/fall package deal where they come out in tuneup your equipment, change all your filters, and give you honest feedback on your equipment - pricing is both reasonable and competitive, and they show up fast. Pro tip: as an honest company, home warranty companies are a big fan of their work (if you need to submit a claim).

Today was the second time that Joe Villavicencio did maintenance on my furnace. He is a very pleasant and professional technician. He represents K & S very well. I am also very satisfied with his work.

I set up an appointment to have my furnace seasonally serviced. The furnace is located in a second home and thus requires special scheduling for me to be there to let the technician in. Even though I reconfirmed my afternoon appointment time in the morning, no technician showed up wasting a half day of my time and the trip to be at the residence for the service call. I spoke with Eric who suggested I set up another appointment but who didn't seem to grasp the inconvenience he had caused me nor to provide any assurances that the same sort of problem might occur again were I to schedule another appointment.

I was assigned K&S thru HSA Home Warranty last night (Saturday) I am without heat and hot water. I called K&S emergency line this morning at 8:15 (Sunday) and was told that I’m on the list and someone would contact me. I called again at 2:00 and was assured someone is calling me. I just called again at 5:30pm and was told there is no plumber on duty on Sundays and nobody is coming today. I used K&S before for a different issue and they too 6 weeks to resolve. I am very disappointed! This company needs to learn customer service and communication.

The technician Joe was on time and walked us through our cooling system. Maggie in the office was very responsive and changed our appointment to accommodate our schedule

Was assigned K & S through my home warranty and was very happy with the service. The company sent a picture of the technician prior to arrival. I explained my issue and he beat my expectations. Showed me the after photos and explained the problem with photos. Just did a really solid job. I went into it expecting to be told I needed a new one and the technician saved me $ for a new one by putting the time into the one I had.

AC didn’t work two months after install due to faulty part. Incorrectly diagnosed problem twice. Hard to schedule appointments to get the right part—had two no-shows to these appointments and two other arrivals outside of window given from K&S (I was not home either time).
Furnace unit leaked water, I had to purchase and put in a pump a couple of months after install. Charged extra for that.
When I contacted office lead about all of these issues, I was told they were too busy with other clients. Would not go back to them, would not recommend
